No more inflation after ther first few pumps on the AMS 700

Postby moretoys » Fri Aug 26, 2022 8:00 am

Hey Gang,
4 weeks in, and I have been pumping for 10 days. After 6-8 pumps I'm not getting any additional inflation. The pump gets very hard, and if I REALLY bear down I can squeeze it, and then it's easier, but nothing is happening. 15-20 pumps with 5 seconds between, and still no change. The cylinders are tight, but I"m not getting pain, and I'm still way smaller in girth and length than pre-surgery size after using a VED. In my earlier post I mentioned that I was unable to fully deflate below about half, which is still the case. I"m wondering if I have a bad valve? I would really appreciate any thoughts or insights on this.

I have about the same size implant. I had similar concerns. I couldn't get any discomfort unless I fully pumped up and then gave multiple short squeezes on the hard pump ball. I am gaining in length slowly. When I deflate, I have to hold the deflate button in the whole time as I squeeze penis. Then I squeeze at the base. Then I push penis into my abdomen. This works for me.

Thanks for the response. Has anyone else found themselves pumping an AMS 700, feeling the ball clearly fill then compress, yet seeing and feeling no effect after the first several pumps? It's like it's gone into overpressure protection mode, but I can't imagine that I've maxed it out. Thoughts?

I had that a couple times, had to reset the valve twice. Do you feel or hear the inflate click when you pump?

Yes, I feel it "click in", and I do pump successfully a few times, and I see and feel the effect. But then it seems that the valve is bypassing somehow and just does not increase the pressure in the tubes any more.

My experience was similar -- seemed no matter what there was no progress after initial pumping. Then one day, BAM -- more pumps and rapid improvement. My conclusion is progress is not linear. There's a threshold to reach and then there's improvement that plateaus until the next threshold is met. Just my experience
