No it s not true, if pills and injections dont work than you go for an implant or kill yourself. No body says ok I live impotent till the point they improve implants ;) I would rather say many undergo this surgery even they know that the quality of implants are crap (malfunctions very often, big pump in the scrotum, hard recovery, seems not like a natural erection, big flaccid and so on). You just take it because there is no other option left and having atleast some hard plastic cylinders in a dead dick is better then just a dead dick.

With a better implant no one who is functionating with pde5 will say ok the implant is so good now, i will rather destroy my corporal bodies forever than taking pills for example. Nothing is better than a natural dick. It s only a prosthesis which gives you the ability for a very high price. It s like russian roulette when you have once done it. Talking about the costs and malfunction problems, the material should be improved and no one can tell me that they really researched for a better implant the last 40 years and couldnt find it

NO, only in some countries a 5year warranty

does it seem normal to you? this is discrimination or mafia, the competent bodies have to intervene instead everything is silent

An implant last from months to max. 15years and the more it breaks the more they earn money. For example, lets say an implant cost s around 8000$...... If it would last 30years the company earn 8000$ minus the cost s for producing. they make a profit around 7500$ per implant. These are fictitious numbers but I think this will be very near to the real numbers.

So 7500$ earned for a reliable implant....

Compared to an implant which last on average 7years.... some 2 years some 12years but averge 7years. From what I read here is it a real realistic number (and maybe too high).

after 30years with 7years durability the same company doesnt earn 7500$ they earn more than 30.000$. If you have a company, will you rather earn from 1 patient 7500$ or 30.000$. It s called business.

I think the longevity is crucial for competing in the implant market. Selling an implant that lasts 15 years to one person can make much better earnings for them than a one that could last a max of 7-years, simply because more and more patients will choose this model and patients will also confidently consider an implant over other treatments.

Majority of men after a certain age don't jump from pills / injections to IPP. They just quit having intercourse. Only a small fraction go for an implant. Urologists say 5%. Which leave some room for improvements. Would you bother for an implant at 70 if your 68yo wife isn't much interested in sex, let's say once or twice a month just to please you? Someone yes, many others no.
Obviously less invasive treatments are more marketable and will attract more funding. But as I said there is a certain margin for competition because if you increase the number from 5 to 8% well it's a +60% increase in the number of clients.
