Is there such a thing as pumping too hard?

Postby darkflame » Tue Sep 06, 2022 11:42 pm

I have a titan and I squeeze the F*** out of the bulb everyday when cycling. Even causes dull pain in my penis after 15 minutes and I have to stop.

I have actually gained more girth than my original penis from doing this.

Is it possible to overpump? I have very strong grip strength.

Has anyone's doctor told them to not pump too hard?

Most recommendations I've read suggest that pain is the best indicator of when to stop. On occasion, I have notice slight bruising and that tells me to stop.

I am not sure about the Titan as I have an AMS device. My AMS device has a pressure limit and will bypass inflation at a certain point. I would contact Coloplast and your doctor. Not sure how long ago you had your implant, and you might want to create a signature so we can see that information and answer better. This has a long recovery and what you are saying is happening is pretty common and can last for some time. Cycling early on is just like that with inflation until you are at max and deflating when you start to feel pain. Then building up to longer amounts of time. I had discomfort at longer inflations and few times would fall asleep at night and wake up in pain and deflate. I would check the distal tip location in your glans. If you were oversized or if your tissue is not stretching fast enough the tips could get too far out and over time might cause some erosion. Another thing to do if this if this is the case is to pull your glans forward off the ends of the cylinders a bit. That will help keep the distal tips from causing erosion and help stretch the tissue below that. Over time the glans will heal and close up and the shaft will stretch, and all will be good or was for me. Depends on where the pain is. If it is in the shaft, then this is not uncommon.

I am not a doctor though and this is just my experience with this. We are all different so I would contact a Coloplast rep and your doctor. There used to be a guy on this board that did work with Coloplast men, and he had an implant, but I do not remember his username.

Good luck with this.

Eid's written instructions were ,not to worry , that you can't pump too much. Just his opinion ,and if it's causing pain that's likely not good.
75, used pills, injections -- all lost effectiveness. Titan implanted by Eid in Feb '22.

I’ve always felt that I’m slightly undersized in length as I’m now 6-1/4” and was a full 7 plus prior to implant. Ever since I started cycling I get an ache in the shaft just behind the glands. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s the Titan trying to expand in shaft as I’m 5-3/4 at base, 5-3/4 mud shaft and 5 plus a little abut 3/4” behind tips. I’ve never had any defined pain in the tips as if it were trying to stretch in overall length. I was 5-3/4” long at first inflate and thru extreme pressure with both hands pumping and bending all along the shaft in all directions I’ve gotten to 6-1/4”. Guess I’m happy if that’s all I get as I’m getting used to it now as is the wife. Otherwise I’m absolutely loving the implant. I asked my Dr if I could pump it too hard and damage the pump or cylinders and he assured me that wouldn’t happen.

Not good to hear! Was hoping you'd get your pre-implant VED assisted size back for proof of their effectiveness! But I wouldn't stress about it yet. You've still got lots of time. When I was about 3 months out I was right at 8". And then when I was 4 months out I was still at exactly 8". Ever since then it's been a very slow and gradual increase, but at least it's a consistent one. Keep exercising it, studies find people getting size increases 12 months-18 months after implant, as well as probably longer. I'd guess needing more time is more likely than being undersized. I think I did increase the exercises, too, at least I'd been neglecting pulling it often for stretched flaccid since I was using a VED, but realized it's probably best to do both, as well as whatever lengthening exercise might help.

Oh, I checked your signature and you got a 21cm (8.27") implant - you'll get back to 7"+, just keep working on it.
