Five weeks post implant; at my three week checkup where I got the clearance to take it for a test drive my surgeon blanched when he saw me with two pair of undershorts, which I needed to keep from pointing at the sky even in loose clothing. Said he doesn't like tight underwear, but didn't get a chance to tell me why. So...
I've got a weird routine now that can't last forever. Was told to keep the reservoir filled to maximize its space for the capsule formulation, and hence the implant empty when not cycling it. Much of the time I can travel the house nude or in loose athletic shorts to let the cylinders find their nature place: standing straight out. Cycle a couple of times a day for at least an hour each time, maximizing whatever I have. Then when heading for work it's back to "snug" briefs and an novel bulge never before seen in my pants until the implant; the only way it's comfortable is pointed up.
What are members thinking about the inevitable "dog ears" you get when you have to fold your penis? I think that's what my doctor was suggesting I avoid; just a fact of life a guy has to live with when in the real world? It's going to be a few weeks before I can leave some fluid in the implant even when "deflated." Trying hard not to do anything my doc didn't instruct; don't want to go back in three months and tell him I second guessed him.
Point it up, point it down, point it out?

Pointing up for me was the least uncomfortable with minimal dog ears.

I change it up daily to keep the healing result more even. Now I am comfortable no matter which way Im pointed.
