How long after surgery can you walk around?

Postby CutlassCat » Sun Sep 25, 2022 2:59 pm

I have a job where I have to walk a lot and I’d like to miss as little time as possible. My doctor told me that I’d probably have to miss a couple of weeks, but I wanted to hear about your experiences.

I was walking around my second day, but very slowly. It took me a few weeks to tolerate walking for any distance.
COVID just started soon after my implant too, so I was kind of restricted to my yard.

I went back to work 2 weeks after surgery, but took it easy and absolutely no lifting.

I was implanted in February of 2021. Two weeks after surgery, I drove 125 miles (each way) to get my Covid shot. I had to park far from the vaccination site on a university campus. I walked thousands of yards and stood in lines for about 2 hours. I was still 70% inflated and wore my jock strap, dick pointed up under looser pants. I did just fine, but I had a fairly easy, quick recovery after the first few days. Just my experience.

Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.

Cultlass, I am 6 days out of surgery and have been walking fine around the house, but after standing for a while my nuts begin to ache. My instructions warned about sitting upright in a straight chair, I should be standing, in a recliner or flat in bed and no lifting for 8 weeks. When I sit upright I get a lot of pain in the testicles and where the reservoir is and that is the only time I have pain, other than that I have controlled the pain with 1,000 mg of Tylenol 3 times a day.
If you are on your feet all day, I think your doctor is right, two weeks would be better.

A week after implant I went to a KISS concert and walked a lot that day. My trsticles hurt bad that night and the following day. But on the 12th day my pain has pretty much disappeared. I still have tenderness and sit down slowly, and still an uncomfortable feeling in the penis where the cylinders sit. I’m numb around right side of my pubic area, I’m assuming that where the reservoir is. I was implanted 9/14 and am not inflated

I had a very easy and pretty much pain free recovery, everybody is different so you won’t know til you did the deed. Two weeks would be a minimum in my opinion, just for comfort if not for pain in most cases.
