What is the first thing you thought after waking up after your implant operation?

Postby España1980 » Tue Oct 11, 2022 5:38 pm

I think my first thougth or reaction would be fear, fear or an infection oe that the surgeon did not do it right.and my second thought would be regret. I think that not even mental stress would betray me making recovery more dificult. Honestly what were your first thoughts?

I was very much distracted from those thoughts by pain, and trying to figure out how to use/empty my catheter bag. The actual thoughts about infection and mental stress about the implant itself didn't hit until a week or two after the surgery

The day of I wasn't thinking about much of anything. I get my money's worth out of painkillers LOL. When I woke up 14 hours after getting home, and unwrapping my genitals and pulling out the catheter, all I could focus on was the swelling and discomfort. Over the next day or two, the bruising started getting bad and that got my attention. Like many guys here have said, what the hell did I do to myself?!? After a week or so everything started getting better, and I became more comfortable and positive about getting the implant. I couldn't be happier with my bionic dick.

My first thought was also, that was quick. My second thought was: this doesn't hurt much. But that only lasted for about 2 or 3 minutes. Then the pain came and made me consider staying the night in the hospital instead of going home. I went home and pain meds made it bearable. So far I have not regretted this for a second.

I'm not dead.

The whole concept of being rendered unconscious, beyond the level of dreams, cut open, prodded around with and brought back is insane.

I also researched probability of so many complications, including death, that and the whole life changing nature of it.

I remember being injected by the nurse just before and thinking, this is what dying is like. You just fall asleep and don't wake up. I remember her taking about rubbish to distract me. I knew what she was doing.

So I was chuffed to not be dead.

I hoped the catheter would be out soon. As it turned out, it was removed first thing the next morning, just before I was discharged to go home. My surgery was delayed several hours while Dr. Kramer attended to an emergency and wasn't completed until late afternoon.

Catheters in dicks that just had surgery are incredibly painful. Catheters themselves are already quite unpleasant, thus, one stuck in a dick that was just sliced through is a whole different level.
