I have some degree of function left, although its not satisfactory but I can usually ejaculate albeit at like 50 or 60% hardness. the thought of trading off getting that full hardness but an inability to orgasm is very scary. are there any factors that contribute to a likely loss of sensitivity (i.e. the surgical approach or any pre surgery anatomy? what are your experiences with the return of sensitivity given you had an initial change?

Same here. Finasteride caused damage to the dorsal nerves or pudendal and corpus cavernosum.
I lost some sensitivity too.

Many years ago a friend had a vasectomy. I remember him mentioning a risk that if the Doc
sniped the wrong tube( ie nerve ) then sensitivity would be lost indefinitely. As the pump
is placed in scrotom; is it possible that the pump could interfere with prudendal nerve system
function ?

Infrapubic here & I'm happy to report my sensitivity has improved. Some of this is no doubt due to having experienced so much discomfort in the last 2 years of using shots. My required dosage of tri & then quad mix had gotten ridiculously high & the pain was excruciating. Also now I'm free to just enjoy the sensation now & not constantly worry about staying hard. I swear the sensation now is more intense & I'm able to ride right on the edge of climax for a greatly extended period of time. It's awesome to say the least!

I'm guessing that is an urban myth. In my opinion there has to be a visual difference between a nerve & a tube.

Isn't the implant great? I had the same issue with Trimix and Quadmix. Had to use such a big dose to get a good effect my penis would ache all day the next day.

Agree with that. My guess is doc was making sure the dude wanted to go through with the vasectomy with that threat.

Infrapubic here too, and I have also seen an improvement in sensitivity. It’s weird how we’re all different. The sensation is way more intense for me. I too say, “It’s awesome to say the least!”

I mentioned my theory that reduced sensitivity may be linked to nerves in the scrotom being affected by the pump.
Years ago I was looking for a Doctor for PD. I checked the Doctors reviews. There was a review by a patients wife
indicating that her husband went in for a vasectomy and afterwards could not have an orgasium. My understanding
is the prudendal nerve function associated with orgasium is complex. Further; my understanding is there are prudendal
nerves in the scrotum. I intend to ask my Uro.
