First deflation of the implant on the third day after surgery. Lots of pain and relief

The implant surgery was on 10/21/22
Saturday discharged from the hospital
Today Monday (10/24/22) review of surgical wounds and deflation of the prosthesis.

Surgical wounds progressing adequately.
A lot of inflammation in general
A lot of pain when the doctor looked for the pump deflation button when deflating
Although I am totally sore right now, relieving the pressure of the tip of the implant on the glans feels great.
The following Monday, next review and total deflation

The Recovery though not painfull is very uncomfortable. I can assure you it gets better but takes a couple of weeks. The first couple of weeks are the most challenging.

Hang in there but you will be very happy after you are healed.

You are way ahead of what I got done. Left 60% inflated after surgery. At my 2 week follow up doc tried to deflate me. I was too sore, so I got left inflated until my next visit. That was 5 1/2 weeks out. I was still pretty sore, but yes what a relief to finally get deflated.

You're right. It doesn't really hurt too much, but it is very uncomfortable. A mix between sore, burning and stinging.

Well that's true unless the doctor squeezes your swollen balls looking for the little button...hehehehe

Thank you, for some reason or simply for positivity I am already happy to have taken the step, I know that not everything will be as I wish, but I will face each new situation to make it work

Yes, definitely each one of us has its particularities in the process, but we all have similarities too.
I think I came out a little more inflated, perhaps 80% (they placed a 125cc reservoir with 110cc of solution), today I think I should still have 50% (speculating), but I no longer feel the pressure of the tip on the glans, which it was painful, only when pointing it forward

I decided to take it easy, when it should be it will be

Take it easy mate. We all have gone through this. Its just a matter of time you will feel great. Hang in there buddy. Take pain meds as necessary.
