I am seeing anectodal stories of improvement of erectile quality&erectile dysfunction by doing kegel exercises and/or daily vacuum pump training (without constriction rings) on regular basis
Anyone here did them regularly for a while and see any benefits?
Thanks

I don't know that kegels can help with your ED but the exercises may have benefits. However I would be concerned about over doing that and possibly causing or increasing CPPS/Hard Flaccid symptoms. If you don't have a medical need for them I'd be careful to not get carried away.
If you're not getting regular erections of some sort I believe using a VED for therapy can help overall penis health and in turn ED. However, there are a fair number of men, I suspect mostly young men, that have caused permanent penis damage by over use of a VED. Use caution and error towards the conservative side if you decide to try it. I'd suggest that if you don't have a legitimate need for the therapy to give it a pass.
Please consult a medical professional before undertaking any self therapy.

PSSDorAmINormal wrote:Yes I've heard the same that strengthening the muscles down there can help. That's probably why sometimes older men get a little weaker over time down there. There is a patented device from High Island Health that you can read about. They also make the device called aneros. They claim to help strengthen the muscles which seems like a good thing. You can also try to stop your pee stream by flexing your muscle and seeing if you can squeeze off the flow. I always assumed I had decent tone down there, but sometimes it is challenging to stop the flow if you're full.
Did you personally try kegel training on regular basis?

This is how I see it:
VED: It depends on what is the starting point. If you are a healthy young man and want a bigger dick you may get some temporary benefits using VED. But all that will be gone when you stop using the equipment. If you have ED it is good to keep up the blood flow with VED. It may help with nocturnal erections and you may gain back a part of the size that you have already lost. In my venous leak case I am using injection+pill combo and after using VED my erection is slightly better and I don't have to worry so much losing it too early.
Kegels: Waste of time.
65 yrs, had venous leak all my life, sildenafil and other pills don't work anymore properly, using Caverject with pills.

I just want to improve my ED, rigidity and durability of my erections. Not looking for bigger erections. Can VED help that aspect? What was your protocol using VED and how long did it take you to see the improvement?

Some advice based on my own experiences:
- Buy a battery operated (USB cabel) VED. Manual units break up very easily and they are difficult to use.
- Start every exercise with low pressure. 60% or so. And raise the pressure higher during the exercise.
- If it hurts the pressure is too high.
- Keep up the pressure several minutes. Don't fill and release the unit all the time. That is useless and spoils the session.
- Try to do the exercise at least 3 times a week. 30 minute session is enough.
You should see some results after a month.

I wonder about kegels.
Kegels make any partial erection I might have go away. Am I the only one?
