Does everyone get dog ears with TITAN?

Postby on the road of life » Sun Nov 06, 2022 10:01 am

Hi

I had read many people complaining about dog ears, especially with TITAN implants.

They supposedly appear when deflating completely.

I haven't noticed them or I don't know how to identify them.

Do you see them, or do you just feel them?

what do you think?

Hi Road of life,

I am days away from having my Titan 7 weeks, I can't say all Titan inplantees experience dog ears, but I do when fully deflated. The absolutely best description I have heard to explain dog ears is the plastic straw example. Take a plastic straw and bend it 90 degrees or so and you will see and feel at the outside edges of this crease created there will be a point, this is the point they refer to when describing dog ears. You can't bend the plastic straw in that way without having the dog ears.

The Titan inflation tubes are more rigid than the AMS designs, when the Titan is not inflated and then bent you can feel these same points under the skin. They may be sore at first, but after a while you don't notice them, you might even be surprised when you reach in to prepare to pee and you feel them. They are no big deal, they only are there when totally deflated, if you don't want them or don't like them a couple pumps will straighten the tubes out eliminating the dog ears. No one is going to know about them unless you allow it, if you are intimate with a new partner, just pump up a little, she is going to expect you to be semi-hard to hard when she takes your skivvies off anyway.

When deflated some peoples dick may naturally bend out a little away from your body and in this case they would be easy to feel but probably still not easy to see. I have maybe a 1/2” fat pad at the base of mine and my penis when fully deflated bends down back inside my fat pad which makes them totally unnoticeable to see or even feel unless you reach in a bit and they are there. I’m pretty sure anybody especially with a Titan will have these when mostly deflated. Like earlier post said, I totally agree! First several weeks to even several months they stay sore where they dogear… after a few months you never even think about them, and occasionally they do surprise me if I reach way back and straighten out my deflated dick.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

Thanks for sharing related to this, I am now 2 weeks post implant and when deflated my base is very sore. When touching it's like there's no room for the cylinders, they are kind of double folded or something. It's rather painful and the only cure is to inflate again, which obviously has other elements of discomfort. I hope these things will eventually pass once the implant has softened up and my body get's used to it.

I have not had that problem, but I don't fully deflate mine ether, I leave about two pumps. And even if I did have them, so what. I have a dick that works and for me that's all that matters. Just say'en.

Agree nearly 100% with your response and assessment of 'dog ears' with Titan. I'm 4 years post-op and wasn't sure what other FT'ers were talking about/ describing until I completely healed from my procedure which also included a penoscrotal webbing removal. For me, dog ears was/ is a non-problem even though I do have them. My 'normal' status is to be about 4 - 5 pumps from fully deflated so that my bends are less noticeable even though I don't care at all how much I show through trousers. For those of you who do not like the feel, look or have pain at the bend point, my only suggestion is to pump up so that the floppy appearance disappears.

The first few months while it was so sore at the base, when I would get home from work I would get my pants off and inflate maybe 40% or whatever it took to straighten out the bent areas. After a little trial and error I found a sweet spot that gave relief from the dog ears yet not so much that it hurt from too much pressure. Also started sleeping in this same state. After 3-4 months it’s a total non issue as you get toughen up and you rarely think about it

Hi

Thank you for your contributions.

Until now, although I am completely deflated, I do not feel them, obviously when I manipulate the penis, I feel things that I did not feel before having the implant, but I do not think that a girl who manipulates it will be able to discern that there is something unnatural there.

It might help that when it was partially inflated (around 75-80%) post-op it was just over 16 cm (6 1/3in) in circumference (hope it wasn't just swelling. LoL) and now deflated I'm about 13-13,5cm (about 5 1/8 in), I think it's chubby...hehehehe

Let's see how it evolves...

Thx

I had a Titan for 27 months and had terrible dog ears when deflated.
Also, had so disfigured penis in deflated state and still looked like semi hard erection. Was not happy with Titan at all. Never felt anything but having dildo in my underwear.
