How hard will this be to conceal
Scheduled for surgery in two weeks. The AMS. Between thanksgiving and Christmas is a very busy time for our family. Church , school, family gatherings. I’m wondering how in the world I can conceal a new implant or do I cancel everything and hang out at home in my room. And how to I keep this from the grandkids who will. Send time with us
67 years old. ED 10 yrs. Insulin dependent diabetes HBP heart disease. Implanted 11/30/22 AMS CX 18 cm 3 cm rte
Re: How hard will this be to conceal
I have triplets for grandkids, and they live directly across the street so they are around all the time. Also my whole family is very close. At first I thought I would hid the surgery… after a lot of thought I just opened up about it! My 31 year old daughter, 33year old son. My parents and my wife’s parents. I just explained to them what an implant was and in general terms explain why I needed it. Overall this has been by far the best way to handle it… FOR ME. Was an interest at first for a few months then after the idea of it settled in nobody ever mentions it or asks any questions. Just told the 6 year old triplets that I had a surgery on my tummy and they can’t set in my lap or jump on me for a while. Everybody is different but really it’s a much bigger deal in our minds than it really is if you just open up about it.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!
Re: How hard will this be to conceal
First of all, my advice to you is quit worrying.
Yeah, I realize that I might be one of those guys that recovers more quickly. And I don’t know how much implant you’re going to have to conceal. And I don’t know if you’ll have the CX or LGX and that might not make a huge amount of difference but it makes some.
My story: I had my surgery on New Years Eve 2019. I lounged around house in sweats or gym shorts rest of day. Watched a few football games.
New Years Day: Son who lives 90 miles away had car trouble. Threw on jeans, drove 1.5 hrs, picked him up, brought him home. Got out of jeans, wore sweats.
Couple of days passed. Put on jeans, drove 60 miles to Austin to get drain removed and let surgeon admire his handiwork. Brought me down to zero inflation which was more comfortable. At that point in time, other than being somewhat bruised and sore, a regular wardrobe was gonna conceal anything.
You might have a bit more of a bulge than you did, but supposedly AMS is not as bad as Titan. And in no way was it a problem. If you were a grower, line me…the only difference was a bigger flaccid dick. Never an issue in street clothes. Skimpy gym shorts or a Speedo….maybe. But during the holiday season and winter months I think you’ll be wearing regular trousers instead of a spandex jock strap so you really need not worry.
Do what your doctors say. Relax and keep a positive outlook. Expect the best possible outcome. Mind over matter. I know some guys have a bit of pain afterwards but some guys don’t and I was basically one of them. It’s not like you’re trying to hide a baseball bat or billy club in your pants. The implant at worst is gonna be like hiding a semi-erection that’s as long as your erection. Unless you’re Jonah falcon, you should be fine.

Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.

Good to hear it you could be open about. Unfortunately it is not possible in my situation.
I also will get a Titan. Do you think it would be possible for you to hide the implant. Or returning to work after two weeks off without co-workers being suspicious?
Thanx

The first few months the only thing I was comfortable wearing was sweatpants. If I stood straight up a bulge showed. Jeans were only comfortable for a few hours but hid the bulge. Dress pants were ok, but same as sweats showing a bulge. Bottom line- females have different sized boobs. Guys have different sized cocks. If someone stares that hard to notice, ask them if there's a problem. What would a female say/do if a guy is staring at her boobs?

Thanx for willing to answer questions all the time. This is very helpful for us who don't have an implant yet and hard to get an idea how things will go.
As i also see children at work. Can you tell if a jockstrap can be used, with the penis pointing down?

I know from personal observation and experience (for myself, LGX-implanted with a 6" 15.25 cm erect penis that is about 5" 12-13 cm uninflated). My erect penis is 5" girth and quite a bit thinner completely deflated and quite flexible (Coloplast is less flexible when uninflated).
Jock stratp and pointed up ward is no problem. Pointed down, I think would be uncomfortable.

Would wearing a longish sweater or hoodie conceal it when pointed up? Sweaters and hoodies often bunch up anyway at the bottom.

tbh I think you're gonna have a pretty hard time concealing it. Though keep in mind it's not somewhere most people are used to looking, so hope it doesn't happen. Also I bought these before my vasectomy because I was told to have supportive underwear. I think these might be decently effective: https://www.amazon.com/WMX-Cotton-Suppo ... r=8-2&th=1

Re: How hard will this be to conceal
Another way I used to conceal trimix hardons in public was tying a sweater around my waist, so the arms hanging down the front covered up the area nicely.
