Spartan,

You wont have the problem you think you are going to have. The only time your new tool will be difficult to hide is the time before you will be deflated. Most surgeons inflate you a bit over half way for the first two weeks or so, after that it will not be noticeable. You will be self-concious because it feels so different and you will be still a bit sore, but unless you are around someone who wants to get your pants off no one will notice. Don’t stress out, if you need to explain to anyone about not lifting tell them you had a hernia operation, everyone will understand, that’s what I told my family and there were no further questions.

I went to my high school reunion 3 weeks after surgery, I bought supportive underwear, quality jock strap with wide straps, loose dark colored pants, a nice silk shirt I could wear untucked, and when I was ready to go my wife said, “I think you would be fine without all that.”

I bought several brands of supportive underwear and by far the best were the Tommy John with the horizontal fly. You can point your dick up and the fly will hold it in position like a kangaroo kid sticking his head out of his mother’s pouch while giving welcomed support to your scrotum. I was used to tightly whiteys so I got the Trunk length and I really like them and have since purchased a weeks supply of them. I highly recommend, bought mine on Amazon.

Don’t stress over this.

How about immediately post-op from the hospital to the taxi to the hotel and a few days later in the airport/plane?

I have bought several pair of under armor boxer jocks I’ll look at the tommy John’s. And probably need a couple of jock straps. Thanks to all of you for the suggestions. BIG HELP. Surgery is in 2 weeks and I’m ready to get this over with and back to life with a working dick!! The Dr. Said he would leave me inflated overnight and I have an appointment the next morning and he will take out the catheter and deflate the implant

Great info, thank you. I'll be looking forward to using these in February.

Seekong,

Hiding your new dick and keeping it comfortable is only a problem until you are deflated, if the doctor deflates you on the second day you will be sore for about a week so the problem then is keeping it comfortable.

The tip of your dick will be sore from the needles that have to penetrate the glans so the tubes can be pulled into the glans. Those punctures healed up really fast, but remained tender for about a week, get some baby socks to pull onto your penis for the glans won’t be rubbing anything rough.

I recommend to everyone to lay flat as much as you can for the first 3 days or so, avoid sitting, either lay flat or in a recliner, this will really help keep the swelling and therefore the pain down. I took the pain meds for the first 3 days then only Tylenol, I stayed down and had minimum swelling.

After 7 to 10 days you should be fairly comfortable, just listen to your body, we all heal differently.

Thanx Old guy.

You mean something like on this site:

I don't see a lot of effort from the manufacturers put on concealability.

Perhaps "codpiece" is an appropriate descriptor?

Is that a jock strap with a removable cup. If so, did you worn the cup?

Smp,

No, a cup was not needed. I was sent home wearing a jock strap, you will welcome the support for the first couple weeks. I was glad I bought a couple more because they get dirty from the seepage from your wound and they need to be laundered often. Your scrotum will be drawn up tight, like a cold water swim, and the support just seems to keep everything where it is is most comfortable. If you get some stretching underwear like Tommy John’s with the horizontal fly, it will help you through the healing process and easily keep your dick pointed up if that is what you want.

I am 8 weeks out from surgery and feel pretty much healed, I still get some discomfort when I sit too long and when I standup from sitting I can still feel some pulling around the scrotal incision. It is not painful, it just pulls a bit to remind you your healing is not complete.
