Cosmic, I followed this poster because I ended up using the same surgeon.
As I recall, he went to the hospital and had a severe infection, and the implant was removed.
I believe he was re-implanted, but I don't quite remember.
I tried to PM him a couple years ago and got no response.

By the way, I had a great experience with my implant done by Dr Avila.
86 years
Inject testosterone weekly.
Implant on 1/22/19 by Dr Avila.
Scrotal, hor. incision just over 1"
18cm AMS 700 CX, 3.5cm RTE 100cc res
Gleason 6 prostate cancer. Monitoring it for now.
Update: On my last biopsies the cancer wasn't found.
