He put in another genesis and only on the bad side. He left the other. I’m bandaged up like a mummy right now so I can’t see a thing yet.
As far as erosion or any of those other factors, the impression I got was that only happens or is more likely to happen if the implant is sized incorrectly. We really didn’t talk much about the sizing other than the fact that he says he’ll put the bigger size and he can that won’t cause damage.

I’ll keep up with this and let everyone know how things go from this point forward. I can still feel the nerve block and I’m also on Dilaudid so I’m feeling absolutely nothing pain wise. I go in for a check up in two weeks and he said after four weeks, I should be cleared to play again.

I’ll definitely stick around because this community has given me so much information I feel it’s my responsibility to help when I can. So the surgery was Monday, and I’m shocked at how little discomfort I feel right now. I’m having to be careful to not overdo it. I get slight little hints of pain every once in a while, but it’s more like a pinching feeling and only last for a second. Very little pain at all.

My penis looks like it did before this last surgery on Monday. One very noticeable difference from the last two surgeries is I feel a lot of sensation in the head and shaft were in the past there’s been numbness. It’s hard to explain, but I feel like I did When I would get natural erections. I noticed it last night at first, but I almost felt like I had a Morningwood feeling. And ever since last night especially my libido has been way up. Which is like hell because I can’t do anything about it.

The doctor said after having three surgeries in three months he wants to remain cautious and not start out with any activity for four weeks. I’m going to do the best I can to pay attention and follow directions.

The only thing I wish is that there’s a little bit more than 90° bend with a Genesis. Like if we can get like 135° or so it would be a little bit more concealable. I may just be self-conscious, but I do a fair amount of instructing in front of a class and I do notice peoples eyes traveling down towards my crotch area. I was never really cognizant of it before, so I’m not sure if this is normal or if I’m just reading into it now. But I normally wear either slacks or 5.11 pants a little bit bigger than I did pre-surgery. I’m gonna be honest I’m not really that concerned anymore. If people wanna speculate I’m OK with that. I think my only worry is when it comes time for the beach. How am I going to look in swim trunks? But let’s be honest, in the grand scheme of things this isn’t a horrible problem.

I will say that the first three weeks the shaft and head are very sensitive from the surgery so they’ll be a lot of shifting around. After three weeks, it seems to be a lot easier to conceal it comfortably for the entire day.

Yeah, the plan is definitely to do anything I have to to avoid another surgery. I’ll behave this time and follow directions 100%. It looks like I’ll have the current equipment for 5 to 6 months before the doctor would even consider doing a revision. That’s plenty of time to give a really good evaluation.

I’m not even a week out. I have no problem doing it after the swelling drops a bit. It just wouldn’t be a fair representation of what it should look like. It’s not too bad but I’ll need a couple of days more.

That is a great question. I go to see him on 5 December for my postop check up. I have a bout two pages of questions I’m gonna ask him. I will add that question to the list. He is a center of excellence for Coloplast so I’m not sure if that means he’s partial to them or if you just earned it for the amount and quality of work he does.

With my revision that he did, he only replace the one rod that was not in the corporal body. He left the other intact. So he really didn’t have a choice to mix and match rods. He had to use the genesis for the replacement.

I did a fair amount of research on the different malleables, because that is still a possibility for my next surgery (hopefully last surgery). They all have similar satisfaction rates. The only thing I wish is that there was more bend Available with a genesis. It is 90°. I think it’s the Rigicon that has 135° of bend.

I honestly think when it comes to the malleables, they’re all pretty similar in function as opposed to the three piece where there seems to be a lot of differences. I’ll be sure to ask him at my next appointment and kind of get his opinion.
