Re: 35, Young, Fit, highly considering Inflatable Implant
I know you guys are right. Thanks for the replies. God I wish I could just snap my fingers and have the surgery over and done with. I’m so ready to have it done. I’ve read almost all 400 something pages on frank talk about implants. Probably done a bit TOO much research. But I do have some good questions for the doctor when I do see him.

For those of you who paid cash… I’ve heard some doctors will offer payment plans or financing to pay for the surgery. Anyone here do that by chance?

Re: 35, Young, Fit, highly considering Inflatable Implant
Also, I do plan on turning this into a full fledged LOG to document my story and this whole process for others to learn from. My appointment is December 21 with the urologist. I plan to give him my background and fill him in on everything that has brought me to this point and why I am wanting to have an implant done. I also have many good questions that I have gathered on this forum to ask him while there..
I will do my best to get some pictures in the next few days or so to post.
My length Bone Pressed is 8 inches, about 7 inches NON Bone Pressed. My girth is definitely over 5 inches, but I’ll have to remeasure that.
I wish I could just take the pictures now or whenever I please, but obviously I can’t. I’ll have to swallow at least 100mg of Viagra to get hard just to take the pictures for you guys.
I am really hoping not to lose any length IF I do have the procedure done, however, I am willing to lose length if that’s what it takes to have all of these problems with ED behind me.

Frist of all, with 8 inches you are golden, even if you lose a little bit of length. With a skilled surgeon you won't lose any from what i've read.
I wouldn't be worried about this at all friend.
Cheers

Thanks for the reply!! I’m really hoping someone on here has dealt with paying out of pocket for the whole procedure and using a “payment plan” that some of the doctors offer.

Recently someone here posted a website where you can get a credit for it. I don't remember the name but you can find it if you search the forum a bit.
I know that Dr. Hakky (one of the best surgeons) is accepted there. Worth checking out. If i find the link i'll let you know

I don't think that many if any doctors truly offer financing. I think that if that subject comes up. That the payments they talk about are actually through "Care Credit". I urge extreme caution with them. They are basically a credit card company with pretty high interest rates. They do offer some no interest plans but they are crafted so that you're likely to make a late payment or not have the balance paid off by the free deadline. If you don't pay it all off in the timeline, they will then charge you all the interest that you thought was free. They make these offers knowing that most people will fail. They see it as a way to get business. No kindness in their hearts.
I would advise people to seek other financing sources.

Thank you for the words of wisdom sure. Much appreciated..
I am wondering if there are other routes to take, such as taking out a loan for the surgery through other means.
OR (this is definitely not ideal) but I own a rental home and could pull equity out of it to pay for the surgery.
At this point, I know that’s not ideal but I do not care!!!!
I cannot live like this anymore
