Why would your wife be anxious and ‘willing to give it a go’ ?
Are you saying she would be content with you having Ed for the rest of your life and a limited sexual relationship? I would guess that it is the fear of the unkown. Us men must remember that it is generally us that do all of the research, talk to the doctors & so on. I'm guessing that not many women get that involved in the process. Then, we've seen the terrible urban myths that some men bring to this forum. I can only imagine what stories some women spread even thought they don't know a single fact.
My advice & my surgeon brought this up also. Once implanted, be careful with a woman that hasn't had sex for a long time. Its easy to hurt that pussy & a couple of painful encounters can completely turn a woman off of having sex forever.
She might need some help from a gynecologist also. Don't ruin the very reason that you got an implant.

She wanted me to try to continue to try alternatives, VED and injections longer before surgery. I explained that I hit the wall with those treatments, and I was ready. It is taking her a bit longer to be ready, but I am one week post op and she is all in.

GT1956, you are exactly right. I have done the research on FT and as well as talked with at least 5 urologist. Was examined by 2 Urologist and all came to the same conclusion on the surgery. My wife was afraid of the unknown initially.

North329, my wife goes thru anxiety everytime I have any kind of medical test done. I don't understand why. I guess its the fear of finding out something is wrong when there isn't any obvious signs. I get a yearly cardiology exam even tho I've never had a stroke, heart attack or stents. I view it as preventive measures. I think she views it as maybe they'll find something. Who knows how women think.
