Before I had mine installed I spoke to three implanters(2 in person, 1 on the phone) and they all said the same thing.
1. According to ALL of them, the Coloplast is best designed for "larger guys" ... the vast majority of average sized men are better suited for the AMX systems.
2.I was also informed the squeeze bulb has a better design and is preferred by the patients who have had both.
3. The AMS system will be Bluetooth enabled in less than 5 years.
The Coloplast will NOT have this feature(?)

That's really interesting information, ty! I think I could add into it that if you are a guy who is looking to increase his length the AMS 700 LGX is a really good choice for that. I got back all my length for an already unreasonably long dick and added more too. They claim for a length expansion up to 25%, and I think that sounds about right from my experience.

But I can also confirm that if you're a guy wanting to maintain/gain girth Coloplast could definitely be better. It's not a huge deal for me cause I only went from ~5.7" to 5.5". I hear from unverified sources that 5.5" might seem to be about as big as AMS can go in girth.

I think technically if I cared deeply a Coloplast would probably have been a better choice for me now, since a super long dick but narrow one is kinda weird lol, but I didn't know about them. Just asked my urologist about implants and this happened. Regardless I'm perfectly happy with my AMS. My plan is I assume at some point in the future I'll be getting a new implant and there's medical options to increase girth. One in particular being a tunica expansion procedure (TEP) done during the implant surgery. I don't know that much about them yet but it's my assumption you pay a surgeon to do that and I could keep the 9"+ length and TEP would increase my girth, ideally to 6"+.

I would consider injectable fillers like HA (hyaluronic acid) to increase your girth WAY before you ever think about something surgical like TEP. Guys over at the Phalloboards forum discuss the various injectable options to increase girth. They are quite safe and even well known doctors like Dr Hakky and Dr Eid perform them, rather than some single random Brazilian doctor doing the TEP.

Mind sharing more about injectable fillers like HA for someone who knows nothing about them? You said Dr. Hakky and Dr. Eid perform them - is it a procedure during the implant, or is it unrelated? Do you do them yourself? And can you briefly describe how they work? Is something you inject often?

I know very little about this. It's my assumption (based off random shit I googled) that the TEP procedure could be done by several implant surgeons. Dr. Valenzuela at Mount Sinai is one, https://reports.mountsinai.org/article/ ... nhancement

Again I know nothing beyond the fact that there's medical options for increasing girth with an implant, which I will be pursuing in the future, cause I'm a dude and want my dick to be bigger. :)
40. AMS 700 LGX, 21+3. Nov. 2, 2021. Idiot who abused alcohol for brain injury, abused viagra for implant.

Goal to prove implants increase dick size

Pre-op dick size: 8.75" x 5.7"

Current: 9-9.5" x 5.5"

Goal: 10+" x 6+"

The guys over at the phalloboards.info forums are the real experts in HA and other girth enhancement injectables, it is the whole theme of their board. But the short version is that HA is a cosmetic injectable fillers originally used in plastic surgery (think lip filler, cheeklift etc) but a number of urologists and "men's clinics" will inject them into the outer layers of your dick for girth enhancement. HA is the safest injectable since it is very easily reversible, but it does tend to be absorbed by your body over time, so you'll need to go back to get more. Think it should last around 12-24 months. There are other more permanent filler options such as PMMA and Ellanse but obviously these carry more risk since if you want it removed, it would require surgery.

You would want to get it done after you've healed from your implant. Dr Eid only does the filler in the glans/head of the penis to make it looked more engorged, but the rest of the doctors do the shaft for girth. I don't do it myself but have always been interested.

Interesting. I don't think I love the idea of an these fillers, but I still don't know much about TEP either. These are all things I'll look into, and talk with my doctor about too!!!

I'm glad there's options. No men want their dicks to get smaller, and knowing you can fix erectile dysfunction with an implant and maybe even get a bigger dick is something I think a lot of men might be interested to learn.

If you are 6” or so in girth, and would be devastated by girth loss, then you probably ought to find someone to install a Titan.

My story: before implant I measured 6.8 in x 6.0 in. Three years after implant I am at 6 3/4 in x 5.6 in. I have the AMS LGX. It cost me 0.4 in of girth. I’m not devastated. Just the opposite. I have been really well pleased with everything this implant has done. If (going into surgery) I had known how much size would be lost, how well it would work, how easy the recovery would be….I would do the exact same thing with the exact same equipment again.

Now, if and when I wear this one out, I may have to look at a Titan. I’m at the edge of what you can get from the 18 cm LGX. (I’ve got 18 cm plus 5 cm RTEs, 23 cm of total implant). You typically hear about guys requiring 2-3 cm more on a revision. Yeah, they make a 21 cm LGX but there are anecdotal stories that it isn’t nearly as reliable as the 18 cm version. So instead of a 21+4 or 21+5 LGX, it might make more sense to install a 24 or 26 cm Titan. We will see if/when my current one quits. I’m hoping to get 10-12 good years out of this one.

As I understand it, the LGX material is limited in what it can expand longitudinally and the Titan isn’t. And a penis>5.5” in girth isn’t exactly a needle or pencil. Length came back. It looks good, works even better, has a great angle when erect. Yeah, I would love my original thickness back…but would I have gotten what I do have with a Titan? No way to know.

Both Titan and AMS implants are exceptional. My doctor said he preferred AMS because he thinks they are more reliable and provide his patients with a good outcome. I can’t really argue with that. But guys with 6” girth or more should be aware that they may lose some small amount of girth with AMS. In my case it wouldn’t have been a deal-killer. But not everyone shares my outlook, either.
Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.
