Hi all!
Nice to meet everyone in here- I’ve lurked for quite some time. I’m a 28 year old male who has struggled with erectile dysfunction due to venous leak as long as I can remember. Ever since I was able to achieve erections, they were what i would consider really only 60% erections- they were squishy, bendable, and lasted mere seconds without stimulation before dissipating completely. Thankfully, I’ve still been able to masturbate, and I’ve actually been able to get hard enough at times to have sex, but every time its a dice roll at best, and throw out any position besides missionary as an option. And a condom? Forget it lol.
My dad passed when i was 14, so i lacked someone to confide in about it, and while i would try to talk to my mom about it, she wasn’t really much use. I lived the life of many in here- went through a long list of urologists and endocrinologists who would write me script for cialis or tell me to see a therapist to get me out of their office.I have noticed literally zero benefit from the pills at any dosage. Trimix injections would stimulate an erection instantly, but it was always that same floppy, squishy, pathetic erection if been used to all my life. (The Doppler with Eid and the “Bimix” injection didnt produce anything more than a slight swelling of my shaft)
Finally have the insurance and means to afford this surgery. Looked into a few docs- Clavell, Kramer, and Eid. Got a bad vibe from Kramer. Barely had time to see me, rushed me out, and his office in Cape Cod seems really outdated. Clavell was better- only met with him over Zoom- but he didn’t make me feel confident he’d be able to help get insurance to cover the procedure. Eid, on the other hand, I felt like was pure class the whole way. While I have UHC, which he doesn’t take for his fee, he was able to swiftly get pre authorization coverage for everything else of the procedures and between my deductible and OOO network benefits, the charge for his fee (and so the entirety of the operation besides hotel and travel) only comes out to about 6k… which thankfully, I can afford. I feel as though paying 6k for the Michael Jordan of Implants is a better move than penny pinching to go with someone less renowned.
So, of course, I am going through all of the pre op nerves and jitters that many posters do beforehand- although i truly believe this is the right decision. Can you guys help relieve some of my fears and anxieties? Any words of wisdom are appreciated! In return, I’ll post updates the whole way into my recovery.
Sincerely- Jets Fan

Hey Jets,
You are to the point where I tell guys, you have done all the hard work, you found a world-renowned doctor, you have found how to pay for the operation, and you have decided to have the operation.
Now, you have to relax and go submissive to your doctor, you are in good hands, and he will take good care of you. Don't let your mind play games with you, just follow you doctor's recommendations and you will be fine.
This is the best decision you have ever made, don't worry about the small stuff.

To have jitters and second guessing yourself is natural.
It's surgery of a main body part to a guy. Physically and psychologically.
Just chill. You did your research, chose a great Dr and you will be fine.
Relaxing is hard but it will work out well.

Hi Jets,
Best of luck to you. You definitely picked the a top surgeon with Eid, I had my surgery just under two weeks ago with Clavell. I was happy with Clavell and his staff through the process. My insurance didn't cover it so I was prepared to pay out of pocket. So far the recovery hasn't been as bad as I expected, but I still have a few weeks to go before cycling and use.

great choice -- like you said, pure class. And what finesse -- I had nearly zero post op pain or other issues, except being a half inch shorter than promised but I gained that back and plus another inch. ! In my book, he's the best!
75, used pills, injections -- all lost effectiveness. Titan implanted by Eid in Feb '22.
