In recovery room now

I honestly feel fine! Maybe a slight dull ache in crotch and lower abdomen, but really nothing extreme. I remember feeling nice with the drugs and the spinal and the. Next thing you know I woke up in recovery.

Eid said the surgery went very well and they did a great job maximizing size (stretch test 19cm). I was kind of longer than I was girthy so maybe the coloplast could make me a bit girthier lol

Welcome Back Jets, and congratulations! So glad to hear that you’re comfortable now and have a good report. I’ve re-read your thread and am well aware of all that went into this decision. You’re much too young to not have just a sex life, but a fantastic sex life! You and me are 3 days apart. Reply here or pm me, but i’ll be here for you.

I’m resigned for a period of time to just be ambitiously lazy, ice like hell, ignore the swelling and bruising. And just prepare to emerge like the phoenix after i’ve put my time in.

By the way, as of now, i have not only flown from Houston to Florida (today, day 3), but i have needed nothing stronger than extra-strength Tylenol. He gave me some strong stuff, just in case, but haven’t needed it.

This constant icing really seems to help. Have a great night amigo, and let your mind and body rest.

I’ll be Frank (ba-dum-tsss) about this- I am absolutely blown away by how good I feel. I’m barely sore. Walking around with ease. Icing now but man that was a breeze.

We feel like we’re about to face a firing squad in the days preceding, and then….THIS!!

As i mentioned, im 3 days in. Flew from houston to Miami today, and have only taken 3 Tylenol. I thought i’d be curled up in the fetal position for awhile. Of course, my stuff is pretty well frozen by now. But, very little swelling or bruising so far. Fingers crossed for us both! Sleep well, continued best wishes.

I’m sure he will take great care of you then. You chose a high volume, renowned surgeon.

For what it’s worth, pain for me definitely cooked up a notch as the anesthesia wore off, but it hasn’t been anything the drugs can’t handle. Was at peak maybe 5/10 ache in grown, with drugs down to a manageable 2-3.

One question for Reddit, I left the hospital with a slight limp that both the staff and I assumed was residual from the spinal anesthesia. The reason was actually because they tied the catheter far too tight on my right leg! I’ve now adjusted/loosened, there’s no discoloration or pain or anything, by my right leg still feels a bit “off”. Can’t put the same weight on it, feels a bit like it fell asleep.

we think this is something to be concerned about or more or less something that goes away by the AM?
