Interest in Glans Engorgement Thread?

I dunno, I keep coming back to Trimix gel as being the most reliable BUT I did notice that when I lay on my back the engorgement dissipates…just like my whole dick did prior to implant. Must be the same ole venous leakage now just leaking from my glans (?) Sitting and on my side it’s huge so if I just slip a ring on after our warmup I’ll be good for any position including cowgirl.
So the only remaining issue is the dang high cost of Trimix gel… gonna just have to cough it up.
Just my experience fwiw— other inputs welcome on this useful topic.

I haven't had my implant surgery yet but, yes, I'm interested in this thread.

I'm still taking 5mg Cialis, which I have been taking for years, even though it no longer works for my ED. I thought that I could stop taking it after the implant surgery but not it sound like "maybe not."

I've also got a lot of VED gear that I acquired over time and will see if using 5mg Cialis w/VED and a cock ring will help w/glans engorgement after I''m clear to have sex after the surgery.

Will post an update when I get to that point.

Hold the phone -- I have renewed hope for generic Levitra (Vardenafil). Having read that a 40 mg dose can be well tolerated, I tried it and, admittedly, this is the first time I have tried this, I had very good results in terms of glans engorgement -- I think as good as Trimix gel. And this is at a $7.00 cost for the 2 tablets compared with about $30-35 per dose of the Trimix gel.

I also read that even 60 mg was the "sweet spot" for a guy using it as an ED med for total erection. The only side effect I seemed to have was a slightly runny nose -- no biggie.

I will repeat this trial again as well as trying a Trimix gel dose and take photos for a more accurate comparison.

If anyone else has tried 40 mg, it would be very useful to hear about your degree of success with it.

Update: tried 50 mg of Vardenafil this morning and glans engorgement seemed just as good as Trimix. And 6 hours later, no change! And no side effects except maybe a bit of dry mouth.

Trimix might be the best if I used a larger dose, but the cost would be getting really crazy high! I will try 60 mg of Var. to see if even better, and report back.

If anyone wants suggestions on how to get Vardenafil cheap (retail approaches $300 for 10x20 mg tabs) just PM me.

BTW, the thread I asked if anyone was interested in -- this thread has morphed into it, so please contribute you suggestions and questions on the topic here.

Well for some of us brothers, we get hard shafts, but our glans do not engorge like a natural dick. So we try different methods/substances to engorge the glans. For many, including me, this increases my overall sensation and a more pleasing experience for my wife.

60mg vardenafil is 3 times the highest dosage... and just for the engorgement.

I'm happy for you if you're fine with it side effects included but it doesn't sound like a sensible medical advice.

thank you, yes I'm fine. But as any of the brothers know, unless we identify ourselves as docs, we are not giving medical advice, just personal experiences or opinions.

I will say that I have read this about high doses (albeit a study sponsored by Bayer)

The maximum dose of LEVITRA for which human data are available is a single 120 mg dose administered to eight healthy male volunteers. The majority of these subjects experienced reversible back pain/myalgia and/or “abnormal vision”. In cases of overdose, standard supportive measures should be taken as required. Renal dialysis is not expected to accelerate clearance because vardenafil is highly bound to plasma proteins and is not significantly eliminated in the urine.

However, I will concede that there may be diminishing returns in going up in dose -- will keep you posted of my personal experience.

I have surveyed the Glans Engorgement topic in this Forum and find scattered posts in the past concerning it including various ways of addressing it if it is a problem.

My question to the brothers "is there interest in coalescing potential solutions to support those who find it a problem". I personally have tried several methods and have read about more.

So please weigh in if you have interested and, if a large enough number, we can start a thread.

good question -- check me if I'm wrong, but engorgement is I would say mostly in thickness but there is some minor gain in length as well -- it's just overall larger.
