Implanted with Peyronie (hourglass)

Postby TheyCallMeDave » Mon Jan 16, 2023 4:00 am

Hi guys,

I wondered if anyone of you were implanted with an old hourglass deformity (more than two years old). I am interested in two questions.

1) did anyone had a tunica expansion (small incisions) to allow the position of the implant?
2) for those who did not, how did the implant expanded ? Did it correct the deformity? How bad was it?

I would be very interested in this as well brother, since I have the hourglassing as well. Albeit mine is very slight and mostly in the semi erect state, I would definitely like to stop this from progressing. From what Ive heard, depending on the severity, most people have the hourglass disappear completely.
42 M. Mild peyronies like symptoms for well over a decade. Mostly related to PFS syndrome I believe. Seriously considering an Implant. Trying to mentally accept the situation, Pills barely work and trimix gel doesn't work, tried injections -hated it.

I had the hour glass. It completely went away. One thing is I think because of the lack of padding at the base you can really feel the tubing from the implant. Basically the titan was rigid enough to push the hourglass back out.
tried the pills limited success , trimix for 6 years . trimix failed due to heavy scarring .Bionic date 12/8. Titan 22cm plus 1 rte. 49 years old. Dr.Sadeghi-Nejad in NJ

Thanks for sharing, this is very encouraging to read.

Did the hourglassing go away straight after surgery? Or, did you have to wait few months, after cycling?

When I woke up it was gone. And the truth is I hated the hourglass. I rather say I’m implanted than to have a woman touch my hourglass and look at it like it was an alien penis. The implant will make you look normal. Also the hourglass caused my erectikns to be weak restricting flow and shrink my penis. Happy to be rid of it

I had hour glassing and hinging mid shaft with a 60+ degree curve. The AMS CX overcame it all and I'm straight, with no weakness or bend at all. The change was immediate.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.
Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.

Great to hear man, very happy for you!

My main problem is narrowing and dents, so this is very encouraging!

Thanks for this post. I have hourglass at the base and it drives me crazy. I do not like the way it looks and it bugs me to no end.

Just the fact that there is immediate differences in the hourglass after surgery is very encouraging. I am working with Dr. Jones at Urology San Antonio and we’re hoping to finally get an approval through Aetna.

I am 3 weeks today and had a pretty aggressive hourglass and upcurve
On either side of the narrowing I was 6.5”, at the depth of the dentation I was 5.5”. The implant today has eradicated the hourglass. Im at 5.675 through the shaft. There is no tumescence so my hope is with arousal I get back to 6”
The upward curve went from 50°- 60° to about 10°
Pretty happy so far.
