question for an unexpected event after the implant
if you had the implant and immediately after you have to operate on the hernia, could the implant be infected?

Re: question for an unexpected event after the implant
I can't answer the question, but I felt like I had a hernia for months where the reservoir was inserted into my abdomen.
The feeling finally went away.

Re: question for an unexpected event after the implant
it's not pain, I have a small discomfort that has been coming and going for about 12/14 days, under the belly on the left, right where the tank should be positioned, sometimes it moves on the right side in the same direction, I thought it would pass, in fact it is decreased, but it hasn't gone away, now I can't do an ultrasound in time and I'm scared that it might be the beginning of a hernia, now my implant is upon us, in 5 days and I'm with this fear, never had any problems there. ..just now it had to happen to me

My discomfort there lasted several months.
It had totally disappeared after that.

The short answer is YES, I had my implant done in 2019, shortly after I developed an hernia, went to a doctor who does only hernia repairs, he sent me back to the doctor who did the implant who sent me to a doctor at the same hospital who does hernia repair surgery, the procedure was done in December and both doctors were present during my surgery, everything went well.
Good luck!!

Re: question for an unexpected event after the implant
I scheduled my umbilical and linguinal before my implant because on the left side he wanted to put the reservoir. I do get pain on left side once in awhile from either gas or bowel movement is about to happen, the reservoir is place right above my large intestine, but it dont last long.
