Testicle stuck to pump
Testicle stuck to pump
Hey all, 6 weeks out and everything has gone really good. Pretty much a near perfect recovery. So far I'm thrilled with the results. Cycling has been much easier than I anticipated and I love my new flaccid. I do have a question for you though. After cycling last night I explored a little more than usual and I noticed my left testicle is attached to the pump. Some tissue has grown between the two forming a bridge. I can move my testicle around and it doesn't hurt at all. If I try to pull my testicle away I can feel the tissue "bridge" stretch. I text my doctor and he said it can happens and to wait and see what happens. Any one else experience anything like this?
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

Exact same time post op and issue. My pump sits really high yo my base will post a pic below of what it looked like early on I have managed to bring it down some now but it's still rpmenant if im on my back and there is the same adhesions you speak of (bridge) it can be corrected but they usually wouldn't go back in the first 6 months because of infection so its a waiting game I got told to just keep massaging it over that time.
Pic below but as I mentioned big change since then but still obvious.

Re: Testicle stuck to pump
I have the exact issue
Re: Testicle stuck to pump
I would suspect it's not uncommon and many implanted men have some tissue attached to the back or sides of the pump and don't even know it. If it doesn't spread and cover the pump or deflation button, I'm not sure it's anything to worry about. I was hoping a few men who've been implanted for a couple years and have the same issue would chime in and let us know it's never troubled them and calm my nerves a bit.

Re: Testicle stuck to pump
I did not have this issue but know that many doctors recommend gently pulling down on the pump every day to help position it lower in the scrotum. Just wondering if you might try this approach to get the pump unstuck. I'm no doctor, just a thought. Other guys here have had this problem and will hopefully chime in.

CatFan,
I was quite surprised to see your photo, that is your pump laying in front of and on top of your testicles, right?
My pump is high, but behind my testicles, you cannot see it when I am in the position you are in the photo. At first, I thought my pump was too high and too far back, but now that I have been using it the pump is in the perfect position. I assume each surgeon puts the pump in a location he thinks it is best, there probably isn't any right or wrong.

That's not my picture, that's Rebz89. Dr. Clavell said to take warm baths but not to worry about it.

Re: Testicle stuck to pump
I had the exact same issue also, was worried there was a big mass of scar tissue attaching pump to testicle and to the scrotal skin. It did eventually loosen up/break down, but I think that did take like 6 months. When the incision is healed, definitely start pulling on things to break them apart, in a warm tub is good or hot shower. Keep working at it and it should improve.
