Hello all. I recently found FT in the course of doing research and wow, what a great resource.
I am a 65 yr old married male from Massachusetts who underwent a radical prostatectomy 12/03/18. After try all of the RX options, VEDs, and injection therapies, I decided that it was time to have my MD perform penile implant surgery on 1/ 16/ 23. I wish I had done this about 2yrs sooner, but I really thought that my function would return. Today I am 10 days into my recovery and beginning to feel better about having made the decision to move ahead with this.
I look forward to joining your discussion group and learning from your experiences and perhaps some my own experiences with anyone who has questions about how this surgery and recovery has been for me.

Again, thanks for the warm welcomes. This is day 12 of my recovery and I’ve had some good days, however this is not one of them. I’m experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort today. I’m beginning to feel like this new appendage doesn’t want to be inside me and is looking for a way out. Does anyone have any tip other than ice, Tylenol and advil?
Thanks

I'm also at day 12. The soreness sucks but I am using Aleve (2 pills every 12 hours) and that seems to help a lot. I also had my doctor prescribe more Percocet for the moments when it's really getting sore and I want to veg out.
Today is the first day that I feel better than most days. I think it was because I got 9 hours of sleep last night, with 2 of those hours being deep sleep which is very restorative. Also my jockstrap seems to be able to contain everything better and feels very secure.
I don't feel like the device wants to escape my body but I do feel "stuffed" in my penis. It's like the boner that never ends!
53yo gay male. ED since 40's. Tried pills (headaches) & shots (spontaneity gone, long erections). Implanted with Titan OT on Jan 17th, 2023.

@TuffDadSF. Thanks for sharing. Yeah I’m sure this will get better, however I guess I underestimated the recovery process of my implant surgery. I really hope that you are doing well Brother.
