The past twelve years have a been a struggle in dealing with ED. Venous leakage was confirmed earlier this year with minimal results achieved via polls and injections. There has been considerable loss of length over the years but I’m looking to gain at least some of it back over time. Additionally I have experienced “turtling” over the last several years. As I understand I will now become a “shower” instead of a “grower”. I’m looking forward to my dick no longer turtling. My girlfriend has been tremendously supportive over the years and I’m looking forward to having an active sex life.

I have learned a great deal from everyone here at FT and I’m looking forward to sharing mine as well. I can’t wait to join the club.

I'm 8 days in, the first few a little rough.
Just stay ahead of it by using the oxy's you will be given. After 48 hours you can switch to Tylenol.

Best wishes.

Congrats on getting the implant. Recovery might be rough, but there is plenty of support to be found here.

So, did you get the surgery or not. Jan 27th is 4 days past.

If you did, which type of implant did you get -- infrapubic or penoscrotal -- and which brand of implant was used -- AMS or Titan?

Let us know, thanks!

I underwent surgery this past Friday (Jan. 27th). Pre surgery nerves all the way up until I was on the operating table and then complete serenity just as they placed the breathing mask on my face just before surgery. The entire surgery took two hours. I went under and the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery.

Incredible soreness/discomfort the first few days. Currently 5 days out and I’m feeling better by the day. I still have a bit of discomfort but that’s to be expected.

I left the hospital a few hours after surgery partially deflated. If I had to guess I would say that I’m about 25% inflated at the moment. I go back for post surgery check up this Friday. The doctor will deflate me and then have me return in 4 weeks to show me how to inflate and deflate.

Looking at dick in its current state of being 25% I’m honestly impressed at the firmness. Of course that’s moreso attributed to the tubes having to settle but nevertheless I’m impressed. Not sure about loss of length just yet as I’m partially inflated but I can already tell that I have not lost any girth. As with others I have gone from being a grower to being a shower.

My balls are incredibly sensitive and there’s a dull ache. It feels as if someone hit me in the balls and the feeling just remains…consistently, minute by minute lol.

I believe that my doctor went through nutsack (I’m not sure which approach that is). I was fitted with an AMS 700 CX model (24 cm).

I’ll be glad when the healing process is over and I can get to using this thing with my girlfriend. Ready to put it to use and make up for lost time.

I gotta admit the ability to get an erection at any moment for as long as I want is amazing. I don’t regret the surgery one bit.

Congrats!

Sounds like you got a penoscrotal AMS 700CX implant There are many men here who got the same.

Best wishes for a successful recovery!

I also had surgery January 27th, penoscrotal with AMS 700. The surgery went well and the expected soreness, but I am 5 days post op, and like you I have really bad pain in the scrotum, I can barely stand or sit, although I’m pretty comfortable lying down. Any of you veterans have words of advice ? For the record I have a pretty high pain threshold and a few orthopedic surgeries under my belt, but this far exceeds anything I have had before

That's two guys posting today about their scrotal pain. I'm not trying to say "hooray for me" here, but my experience at your stage was that scrotal pain was barely an issue. I'm curious, did your doctor do a nerve block that was designed to control pain in the area for the first 3-5 days? My doctor did exactly that, but frankly I was skeptical. I really imagined i'd be in some degree of suffering on the plane ride home 3 days postop. That nerve block worked like a champ. Seems to me that by blocking the pain for 3-5 days the patient is spared the pain of those first few days. I always wondered when the pain would come, it never did. As i've written elsewhere on the forum, only 1 pain pill and 3 tylenol, that's it. About 1 month postop now and feeling great. Walking 3 miles daily and looking forward to resuming the gym (gradually) in two weeks.

Regarding the soreness you mentioned, I mostly felt discomfort when sitting for about the first 12-14 days. The harder the surface the more I found myself squirming. I bought the attached cushion on Amazon, and it was a lifesaver? Notice the cutouts where your scrotum would be. That took so much pressure off. I had it in the car, at my office chair, my couch. Highly recommended.

I asked about a nerve block before surgery and my Doctor typically doesn’t do that…so no I did not get a nerve block….thanks for seat cushion information.
