Mine also curves up when pumped hard. I think it is to long and it is buckling when hard hard. It hurts at that point so I dont usually pump that hard. Is yours painful when xtra hard?KeithC wrote:My AMS 700CX 24cm is actually curved more than when I was natural.
I know the cylinders are straight but for whatever reason I have an upward curve when fully pumped.

Re: Make a Curved Implant?
I have read a post on line by at least one high volume surgeon that the angle of your inflated implant will be largely dependent upon what position you kept your penis in while the capsule around the implant was created. To me that makes perfect sense. If you let you penis hang down while the capsule was formed, that is the angle that your penis will be at when it is inflated. Similarly, if you kept your penis supported , towards your abdomen, while the capsule was formed, that is the angle that your erect penis will be at . There is underwear that will support the penis along its length, rather than by only lifting it by pushing up on the glans (which can become rather painful in a short period of time) . I have a pair and have ordered a few more variations of the same . FYIW ... those are my thoughts/observations of the topic of this particular thread,

I agree that my implant is probably a tad longer than the space in my penis. That's probably what's causing the bow. My doctor installed a AMS 700CX 24cm implant. I read its better to have an implant a little longer than a little shorter. A penis will stretch some.
I've only had mine about 14 weeks now so its still a pretty new deal. When I fully pump up there is some discomfort yes but not near like it was earlier. Damn that was painful. The more I cycle the better it seems. But I don't get carried away with it like some guys here. I don't obsess over the size and measure it constantly and put vacuum devices on it either.
I do know my penis has stretched a little in length and girth. The first time I pumped up at the doctors office I was a little disappointed. Now I am either used to how it looks or its stretching, or both. It looks more like it used to. My head also gets full engorged now.
Prior to surgery I was worried about "floppy head syndrome" but it looks like my surgeon did a good job and the heads of the implants are well into the head of my penis.
That's my take on it anyway. 66 year old here.

The orientation of the cylinders is variable depending on the method the surgeon uses (infra-pubic or penoscrotal). Additionally, the orientation is further variable depending on the location the surgeon makes the corporotomy incisions. They can be made in a wide range of positions around the corpora, mine being about 45 degrees to the outside of straight down (penoscrotal).
Infra-pubic on the other hand, is inserted from the top of the corpora.
With this variability of insertion in mind, it would be almost impossible or at least infeasible to produce a product that could be properly oriented with so many possible angles of installation.
---Yes, you would need 2 different models for infra v penscrotal...thats about it.

That would again lock the surgeon into one precise position to place the incision on each model. Depending on each patient's unique situation, the incision on the corpora can vary about 20-30 degrees. Mine is roughly 45 degrees away from my body's center line, others may be closer to 60-75 degrees, or even 30 degrees. Unless the new designs had some sort of adjustment available to change the tubing position, it would require precise positioning of the incisions (corporotomies).

--Just looking at scrotal implant. Are you saying that some surgeries the tubes splay out at 75%--that's almost flat to the body? that would be VERY noticeable in the scrotal sack. And 75% inward --wouldn't they be protruding right into each other. Hard to believe there is that much deviation from the midline And how/why would the surgeon want to work that hard to make the incision at such an awkward location? I'm not a surgeon, but I've watched a ton of surgery vids and there in no deviation like you suggest in any vid I saw?

ShouldIwait wrote:Why cant they make the implant curved a bit like most natural erections? Would love if it bent upwards just at the last few pumps and looked more natural
Thinking some non/low stretching material glued along the top? Or just extra thick such that it expands less? Imagine a strip of tape on a long balloon. Tape would cause it to curve, particularly at highest inflation-that's kinda how my natural dick worked.
I've wonder the same thing. And you've got a good idea on how they could do it. They could have a strip on the tubes to show the surgeon which way to turn the tubes and I thought they secure the tubes in place otherwise they would slip around and out of place and that would be a really big problem.
