I'd be interested in seeing a video! Thanks for this thread Rebz, like you said this is lots of good info that can help make a decision. I'm also a Type 1 diabetic, currently 30 years old, about 90% sure I'll be getting an implant in the very near future.

Yeah man no problem can arrange a video call and show you how it works and scar and share journeys etc.

I'll pm you my number I'm UK based so will be a time difference I'm guessing your over seas from me.

Done around 4 calls with people and doing a show and tell. Think it's helpful. I would have liked one before or just after my surgery too....chat to you soon

For us new bionic brothers that are worried about losing size I thought I'd post some pics of cycling progression "if any"
Below is 3 pics from my 3 week mark.
I'll post a reply below that with the 6 week pics. And continue to update if anyones interested to see if/how cycling works.

Don't know my size pre op but I know I'm down in length and girth so just going off my 3 week mark pics as a size guide to improve on.

I see your pump is high and not in the base of your sack? Did they tell you to keep pulling it down so it doesn’t permanently settle high? Mine is in the same position… up high. Very irritating and sore. I’m unable to pull it down despite trying daily. Boston Scientific feels it’s scarred in place and may need to be repositioned.
AMS700 LGX - 21cm - 12/20/22. ED issues for last 5+ years. Pills worked for a while. Injections were horrible. To date, not a fan of the implant (read my posts)

I was never told to pull it down as I'm uk based and free health care I wasn't basically discharged with no aftercare advice at all. Didn't even see the consultant just before or after surgery ( ridiculous I know) when I did see him a couple weeks in he THEN said to start "tugging" pulling it down is what I think he meant. I've made good progress so far but yes super annoying. I've seen lots of people have same issue some took 8-10weeks and was fine some took 5 months but all seem to come down to position so I'm being patient and just massaging it daily nothing aggressive and it's helped lots.

Doctor shouldn't go back in within 6 months of implant as risk of infections higher so I can have it surgically lowered after my 6 month mark if its not suitable for me by that point. I have faith it will be though. Its usually a mild sedation and out the same day of repositioning

Yes the pump is now much lower but still sticking out more than I'd like. I had a call from a urologist today to see how I'm getting on and mentioned it. Hopefully in a few months if it's not broke away from the skin and dropped then they will reposition it.

And I'd like the curve to go to but I can't complain I have a functioning penis

I also feel the pump attached to my scrotum, I have it very high, I asked a few hours ago if I can lower it to have a better grip, even the button is difficult to reach because the pump is high, he told me to lower it slowly , soon I will try to place it better further down, we hope to succeed

Mines pain free and just won't budge its definitely lower than it was. There's just no more give in it though like the pump actually seems to sit OK its just the bulb feels stuck to the wall inside so won't fall as low as it can do... anyways ill keep you posted if I do find a resolution before having the doc reposition it
