Well, THAT was a long 6 weeks postop. Not because of pain, that’s been (almost) a walk in the park. More the hassle and self-consciousness of that permanent chubby. Met with Dr. Clavell via video this morning and got the go-ahead to both begin cycling and return to the gym. So, i’ve already done both.
First cycle was in a hot bath. Soaked for :15 then got to it. Doc said deflate first. The release valve was just where i thought. Tiran classic. Felt so strange to squeeze my dick and feel the rush and fluid out. Don’t think i completely deflated. No Krinkles but obviously depressurized versus my 6-week chub.
The first inflation took awhile. That first time you have no idea how hard it will be. I squeezed the HELL out of it initially to no effect at all. I discovered rotating my grip a bit and kind of aligning the pad of my thumb with the deflation block did the trip. Felt the fluid gently enter and heard the sound. The sound is no big deal at all. Like a very soft little intermittent “glug”. Small price to pay for great sex imo.
It took several pumps and several minutes with it slipping out of my fingers a couple of times. That didn’t really hurt, but was a definite “whoops!” moment. After about the 10th pumping foray my scrotum began to get very sore and sensitive. I had to push past that because i had a ways to go. Pumped it up as much as i could. Did the Perito stretches and pumped some more. Felt some discomfort due to general stretching and i think the implants really pushing hard on the glans for the first time postop. I could see my length increase a bit. It stretched the skin under the glans, below the circumcision line. The skin was mildly pink where it stretched, which was proof that i was indeed stretching in length.
I felt REALLY stretched and cried uncle. Soreness in shaft and balls from the pinching. It was the scrotal skin, nothing relating to the balls, that hurt. I set a timer for :45 minutes, and was quite relieved to deflate after that. Palpable relief.
After, i was so ready to hit the gym for a light workout. Put on my Seperatec underwear with the penile pouch. My flaccid was much more comfortable that that permanent chub, but i was still pointing down to about 4 o’clock. Because it’s more flaccid, i pointed it down in my Seperatecs and noted i do indeed have a package when there was nothing much there before. It looks like a big package i think and not a boner.
And as another wrote here, i went into the gym and OWNED it! Kind of fun really.
Question. Regarding my tender sack, WHEN does that get better? I imagine it’s like acclimating your bare feet to the outdoors when you’ve not ever worn shoes. Gotta toughen up, but long has that taken you guys? It’s still sore. not looking forward to round 2 in a few hours.

Congrats on moving to the next stage in your recovery!
Can't tell you how long it'll take your sack (or dick) to toughen up because I haven't gotten past that stage myself.
20 days post-op and 11 days since I was ok'd to cycle, the left side of my sack is still swollen/tender and my dick still gets sore from cycling.
I find it more difficult to deflate than inflate and most of the discomfort happens during deflation because the button is hard to find and has to be held down firmly (even if just for 1-2 secs per the One Touh instructions) to initiate deflation.
Just gotta take it 1 day at a time.

Age 73. Started taking 5 mg Cialis daily in 2000. Minor ED started in 2021. Major ED problem started in 2022. Coloplast Titan (20 cm w/1cm RTE) implanted infrapublicly on 01/24/2023 by Dr. Edward Karpman (El Camino Urology Medical Group, Mt. View, CA).

Getting your sack toughened up will take a while. I moved the bulb to a different spot while pumping up if it got sore. Took me about 2-3 months to not get sore.
Congrats on making it to this point. And the hot baths are good, aren't they?

Congrats ThailandBound!
Great news. I know it's been a long 6 weeks for you, but for me it seems your surgery was just yesterday. Your surgery and recovery has been extremely easy for me.
I'm almost ready to leave for Houston, I've got all my goodies packed up, prescriptions filled, books downloaded.
You're the gold standard on PS recovery, I hope and pray mine goes like yours.

Hey ThailandBound,
Congrats on starting your cycling adventure! It sounds like it's going to be a great journey.
I'm a few weeks ahead of you, so I can relate to the feelings of getting used to cycling. Everyone's experience is different, of course, but I usually found it took a couple of weeks before it became more comfortable.
Good luck - have fun!

Everything sounds completely normal Captain, congratulations!
It will take a while to toughen up the tissue you squeeze to use the pump. My advice is if it is getting more sore back off on the number of times you cycle a day. In my opinion that is better than getting so sore you can't cycle at all, you won't lose anything.
The pump is hard as hell in the beginning, but it will soften up with use. Mine felt like a marble the first time I tried to pump.
Great attitude with your new package in the gym, own it, be proud. It doesn't bother me at all either.
When do you get to flight test it Captain?
