Insurance providers in Texas that cover IPP

Postby Pamen116 » Mon Feb 13, 2023 6:32 pm

Can you recommend insurances that accept IPP surgery/revisions? Insurance by corporate companies usually exclude IPP surgery under it being a cosmetic enhancement.
30 yrs old. Current IPP failed in 2022. Waiting revision. No insurance. I’ve had both Titan & AMS.

I would be interested in this too. A supplemental policy would work also.
62 yrs old first implanted 9/4/2012 Titan OTR, lasted 10 years failed on 9/7/2022. Revision by Dr. Clavell 4/5/2023. 24cm + 1cm RTE's, Titan OTR. 110CC cloverleaf reservoir. Penoscrotal both times.

in Texas, I would think that they shouldn't cover it. They don't cover stuff for women.

I would call a TX doctor that does IPP and ask them who covers it. They would be the best resource, as they deal directly with the companies that pay.

Which “women’s needs” are not covered by insurance in Texas specifically?

The “need” to kill her unborn child?

Can you think of any other women’s needs that are not covered?

Please explain in detail how an implant procedure is similar to a woman aborting her child.

Keith- I wouldn’t entertain his response. Guy sounds super pessimistic and unhelpful.
