Subcoronal implants are less common.

Hopefully someone else who has had one can chime in but it seems to make sense to point it up to allow the incision to heal properly.

Has the doc prescribed any pain killers for you and are you using them?

Thanks for the support, yes I have endone and gabapentin, just ran out of endone, am seeing the doc tomorrow, hopefully he wil refill the script.

Yes it is painful . For me the pain is the pressure that is kept on the head of the penis to keep it close to the groin. During the day I change the support systems several times . At least 1/2 the time I simply have it pointing straight out. My understanding is that we want the capsule to be formed around the cylinders when the cylinders are in an upright position so the the formed capsule will result in an erect penis that is more upright than not . Erect penis's do not naturally point downwards (if they did maybe they would not be called "erections") ... Imagine trying to have sex with a downwards pointing erection ?

Hello Aussie. I sympathize with you. You are very early on in your journey, and I was pretty miserable for a few weeks after my surgery, but trust me, it will get better. The first 2-3 weeks I even started to question myself about having my implant done but hang in there, it really will get better. I’m not sure that there is one position that is most comfortable, however what helped me a lot in the beginning was ice packs. Keep the faith Brother.

Thanks a lot for the support brother, appreciate it, am using ice packs a lot, the scrotum is just so tender it gets difficult at times.

I wish I had kept mine pointed up while healing, there was some scar tissue that developed so when I am pumped fully it tends to point slightly downward. I would have rather that scarring happened to cause a slight upward bend.

Sorry that happened to you man, hopefully on revision, you can fix it.

I'm sure a big reason also is I didn't/haven't really inflated mine much since I got it. I inflate it maybe once a week if that. Curse of a non existent sex drive unfortunately :(

Hey frank how are you doing now a month after implant? Is the pain gone? Are you satisfird with the results?
Venous like since I was 20 years old. Pills don't work too well. Thinking of implant in the future

Here are my 2 cents: I saw my Dr. for my 6 week follow up a couple of days ago . While there I found out that I had not been properly deflating the implant, so the cylinders never deflated fully. Now that I have discovered how to properly and fully deflate the cylinders my general comfort level is much higher and I can use my tighter bikini-like underwear to fully support my penis up against my abdomen without the discomfort (that eventually became pain if I did not frequently re-position my penis) I previously experienced.
