is a plant really good?
hi guys, I'm talking to established guys who have gone through this process, I understood that reading often leaves the time it finds, some things need to be experienced and often even explaining them in the best way they are difficult to understand by those who have not experienced these situations, I go with the very direct question, I'm 40 days out, I had sex last night, the sex and the sensations are really poor compared to a natural cock with all its problems, I feel the cock anesthetized and numb, I can't reach orgasm , he is very sensitive to pain rather than pleasure, to the point of stopping having sex, the orgasm seems to be light years away or non-existent, before I reached it in 15 minutes holding back, is this normal? who has been through healing, has this happened to someone and then it all comes back in time? implants are often overestimated on this forum, in my situation I feel like saying to non-implanted people that if you have a 20% functioning natural cock, don't get an implant, I didn't have the implant to have a dildo

You’re at 40 days. I’m at 2 months and only had my first orgasm a week ago. Prior to that it was as you described. Sore from cycling/stretching, which was too distracting to orgasm. Had same loss of sensitivity in lower shaft. I’ve had two orgasms since the first attempt and each time gets better. Masturbating at full inflation is too uncomfortable as of now, so i just max pump for a few minutes as my ongoing rehab. I masturbate at about 80% comfortably and am confident i’ll get to 100% in due time.
Surgery damages nerves. Nerves heal. Not necessarily in 40 days. Years ago i had abdominal surgery. The incision site was numb for months and i thought it might be permanent. It wasn’t. Feels perfectly normal now.
You need some patience and you need it NOW!

Active, athletic 63 years old. Sexually, still 33 in my mind and spirit. Pills and injections all worked, until they didn’t. Diagnosed with veinous leakage in 2022. Coloplast Titan. 22 CM. No RTE. Peno-scrotal. Implanted 1/4/23. Dr. Clavell.

You have more healing time to do before you judge. My first time was about 41 days out and I hurt so bad after I had to sit in a hot bath for 45 minutes. The next couple of times it wasn't as bad. By 90 days it was much better.

Sorry that you're still having problems, Frank.
I got an infrapublic Titan implant a day later than you did and I've had no problems whatsoever.
I haven't f*cked yet because I'm between f*ck partners but I have masturbated about 2-3x's a week for the past 3 wks and the sensations are the same as they were before I got my implant.
I believe I've read that your doc said that your are progressing normally for patients of his and that things should get better for you in time.
I hope that he's right and that you can soon feel that getting an implant was the "right" decision afterall.
Good luck!

I totally agree with other post. I went thru a period the first several months of rarely getting a climax. Was too uncomfortable for it to happen. As the time went on I started getting more and more sensation. By 5-6 months it was getting about back to my old normal. But now at 10 months I’ve gained a lot of sensation that I don’t remember having in many years. I think the injections were adversely affecting my sensations as at time it got so hard it hurt and many times I went 3-4 hours with this. Either way now it is amazing!!! Feel like I’m getting back to my pre medications self and feels almost natural.
