Most top surgeons avoid them except in some cases where they are necessary. Other surgeons don't avoid them for cost saving purposes and if they don't use the no-touch technique, it would increase infection risk.

Again, when used as they were designed RTE’s cause no issues.Simply designed to get a good fit and length.Used on thousands of cases.Show me a surgeon who won’t use them and Ivwould run out the door!

If I showed you Dr. Eid or Dr. Clavell you would run out the door? I never said they refuse to use them entirely, but they only use them sometimes because as you can see from that video and the study, they cause wobbly erections. Other top surgeons are more willing to use them but try to minimise them because they are aware of the downsides.

This forum is like talking to Trump supporters, anti-vaxxers, climate-change-deniers in that so many of you just ignore evidence and logic in favour of what you want to believe. Embrace reality or keep your fantasies to yourself.

LOL!I’ve debated this with you before.Do you have an implant?I do with two RTE’s and no instability.I know first hand what I’m talking about.Like the Liberal Socialist that you probably are you can’t stand someone to disagree with you.Especially someone qualified to do so from actual experience with RTE’s.So take your BS somewhere else and come back when you have an implant.

Lol I was right.

Let me explain this in a way that you should, but unfortunately won't understand.

Your knowledge is based off of a sample size of 1 (your own implant). Dr. Eid's knowledge is based off of the results of his 8000+ implanted patients. The latter is obviously more valuable.

And your experience is based off “0”!

This is really good to know, I have almost the same size implant as well.

Can you pump to say 85% and still have a rigid erection?

Thank you,

Yes,play around with how much you pump up.I usually pump up to the max,but vary it on occasion!

aussiePeyronies wrote:Thanks, this is exactly my concern. There is also the video from Dr Eid showing a revision on a 4cm RTE, the difference is substantial. I have noticed that the wobbliness with RTEs seems to effect Titan users more than AMS.

I find the fervent reaction of some of the members here, denying any possibility that using "too many" RTEs could cause a problem with the stability/rigidity of an implant, curious.

As people here like to say, everyone is different. Some men will and some men will not experience problems with RTEs, depending on how many are used, the skill of the surgeon & the specific anatomy of the patient.

So, why deny what has been reported in the medical literature and anecdotally about such problems?

If you and others and others have no problems w/your implant w/more than 2cm of RTEs, that's "great" but that doesn't mean that other men may not experience problems if "too many" RTEs are used or that men who are planning to get an IPP shouldn't be warned about possible problems associated w/using too many RTEs.

Denying what has been proven medically is inconsiderate and does a disservice to those men who would benefit from being fully informed of all of the risks involved in getting an IPP.

The facts are the facts, whether you choose to deny them or not. 8-)

If you read my post I didn’t say there could be no problems if RTE’s are misused.RTE’s are a very common part of implant surgery and are used everyday with no problems.Putting fear in guys about RTE’s is not a good thing when in fact using them correctly is a good thing.I’m in no way blowing off anyone who has had a problem from a poorly performed procedure. At the same time no one should have fear of properly used RTE’s,period!
