One month in, will size come back?

I was finally able to cycle starting last night.
I'm only able to get 3 or 4 pumps in before the bulb gets too hard to squeeze.
I do feel some pain where the tips are pressing into my glans, but I am noticeably shorter than pre-op.
Measured along the top I'm barely 5", where before I was around 6.2" when using Cialis.
While I was aware that some length could be lost, this is more than I expected.
Girth seems about the same as before, and I did have a moderate curvature, which is much less now.

Will I regain this length with time and cycling?

I didn't find this forum until after my surgery, and I wasn't aware of using a vacuum device beforehand.
I do have 21cm cylinders +2cm rte
Would using a vacuum device at this point hurt anything, and would it help to regain as much length as possible?

Again we are all different and so are the doctors we use. No need to follow another mans and doctors advice. Follow your doctors instructions as your doctor cut you open and knows more about you than anyone else. You can ask your doctor about VED use and other things posted on this site but follow your doctors advice. You trusted that doctor for this surgery and that doctor knows what he/she did. After you are fully healed and released by your doctor you can decided if you want to try the other things. You are at the highest risk for infection right now so you need to be careful and heal. I had gains out past 1 year with mine. Recovery of lost size can be long. Some size loss may not be recoverable. From the size of your device it would seem probably that you will get that back. Just do your best to follow your doctors instructions on cycling and learn what you need to do to operate the device well. Heat helps this early on. I used a heating pad to get everything really warm and makes a big difference. You have a lot of changes still to go through and more of the healing process.

To add to my post about the probability you will get your size back regarding the size of your device, according to this publication in table 1, you will see the amount your 21cm LGX can expand to. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5654325/ It shows the 2 samples expanded in length to 24 cm for one and 24.9 cm for the other. Add your RTE's of 2 cm and you get 26cm and 26.9. Or 10.24" and 10.59". General rule of thumb is that 1/3 is inside your body and 2/3 is outside. Or 6.83" and 7.06". Then you have a bit of glans in addition to that. Now we are all different. We have different dept of the device inside us. I does look that with these numbers you do have a very good probability to get back to your 6.2" It may take a long time though. As I said it took me over a year to get within 1/2" of my original size. With no expansion and 23 cm total length or 9.05", that would be 6" outside with a bit added for the glans. It is possible you have more than 3" of the device inside you and that is where the expansion of the LGX will help with recoverable lost size.

A few men have slightly increased size with implant due to erections prior to surgery not being 100%. But of course, implant is not enlargement surgery. The point is you are very likely to regain your preop size with just regular cycling and following your doctor's orders. The one thing that will cost you size loss and in many cases a lot, is infection. Don't let your wish to speed things up cause you additional risk of infection. In the end though it is your dick to risk if that is what you are determined to do.

Agreed. No way I would want to risk infection or any other damage just to speed things up.
I'm only interested in safely maximizing my results.

You are only a month out of surgery, worrying about size at this point is a waste of time, just let your body heal. I didn't cycle until 5 weeks and I am at exactly the same length as before surgery. Did your doctor tell you to cycle and to do the Perito bend? Personally, I think that is way too early, let the tissue heal and the swelling go down. After surgery there is a lot of swelling that makes your dick look small. Don't dwell on this length thing.

Relax. You’ve got damned near a year of pumping to do.

It’s going to come back (the size). Back in the 70s there was a commercial on TV where Loretta
Lynn was frying chicken in Crisco oil. They were telling you that after frying, all the oil came back except one teaspoon, therefore your chicken was light and crispy instead of an oil soaked mess.

I digress. I’m not advocating Crisco oil for anything (although I used it in college as a lubricant, we kept a bottle in the dorm for popcorn machine). My point is that my doctor’s exact words were that my size would all return, except for maybe a tiny little bit.

Like you, I have 23 cm of LGX implant (I’m 18+5, however).

I started out this adventure with a best bone-pressed erect length of 6.85”

I don’t measure often. Last time I did, it was easier to read in centimeters. 17.3 cm bone pressed and inflated.

Do the math. 17.3 cm = 6.81”.

So it all came back except for 0.04”. Trust me, im not sweating THAT at all.

It looks great. Works great. It’s a good size. What’s not to like?

Note: I got most of my cycling gain between month 4 and 12.

I'm at 6 weeks now, and been cycling for a couple weeks, as well as a VED twice a week.
I just checked and I'm up about 1/4", so definitely something. Girth is still around 4.5, but I was never overly thick anyway. Most girls were very happy with my size before, so if I can get back to that I'll be happy.
