I’m sure this has been asked before but I couldn’t find it.

I am currently 38 and started experiencing ED in my mid 20s. It became pretty bad around the time I turned 30. I started going to the doctor to open up about it but was always met with take some pills. The pills maybe would give me a 25% boost but nothing solid or lasting. In addition to that, I would get very flush in the face.

Before I had ED, I was just about 6.5”L x 4.5”G.
Since ED, I have noticed that I was shrinking. It was relatively slow and I couldn’t find much information online for what I thought was happening.

Prior to the implant, I ended up being around 4.75”L x 4”G.

People mention that you can get back to your pre-op size over time but is that generally limited to pre-op size of 4.75”L or can it be the pre-Ed size of 6.5”L?

I really wish you would have used a VED before implant. Did you not? I didn't know I should have either but I was severely over-dosing viagra (1000+mgs) and that can have the same benefit. Do you know how many cms the tubing you got is? If because you went into surgery measuring 4.75"x4" I'd guess it's possible the length of tubing you got isn't much more, but I don't know.

Though I do believe even if you don't get your size back this time I don't think the rest of your dick ever really goes away. What I read seems to state all men do lose size due to ED, but vacuum erection devices have been proven safe and effective through over 40 years of medical research to fix the blood blow and maximize the health of your dick.

So it's not gone forever, but turns out our dicks need exercise like our bodies do also, which no one seemed to ever tell us.

I did end up using a VED but it was only a month or so from when the doctor told me to use daily before I had my implant date. So I can’t imagine it did much.

I basically had what I’d call a “dead dick” where I had no mind muscle connection with my penis. So at that point, I just wanted my penis to function again and not be frustrated during what little sex I could muster by squeezing my penis as hard as I could to try and keep some blood in it.

Size loss is either recoverable or non-recoverable. I have size loss compared to my healthy youth size and size increase compared to my pre-op size. I think that is because prior to surgery neither pills nor injections would produce an erection. However I was implanted with a 700 LGX. My device will expand in size more than the Titan. If you know what size Titan cylinders you have and the RTE's that were used if they were used you can determine the over all length of your device. Then you can use the 1/3 2/3 rule of thumb to get a general idea of your post surgery size. I have a 21cm cylinders with a 1cm RTE for an OAL of 22cn. 2/3 is 14.66 cm or 5 3/4 inch. I am longer than that though. When the doctor measured me in surgery I was 11cm proximal and 11 cm distal. According to this publication https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5654325/ in table 1 my cylinders can expand to 24cm. Uses that size and the rule of thumb I can reach 6.5 inch. And I am right at that with the addition of my glans above the cylinder tip if I cycle hard for a few weeks. With just regular use I am closer to 6.25 inch. The Titan will expand a little bit as shown in Table 1 but less than the LGX.

VED use prior to surgery is the most effective in the first 2 weeks. And then starts really slowing down after that. 6 weeks in the number sometimes quoted as what is recommended. The gains in those last 2 weeks are very small when compared to the first 4 weeks.

I never asked about the size of cylinders or RTEs used. I am going in tomorrow for a 1 month check up and am planning to ask while I’m there.

I lost length while struggling with ED. Never knew anything about penile health until after my implant. Unfortunately, I just kept finding the next step as the previous one was failing. PIlls worked great for a while, when they started to not work I found injections. When injections were starting to fail and on vacation in Vegas by chance I saw a doctor advertising penile implants. Back home I found a doc who did implants and a year later headed into surgery.
The bad is I hadn't found FT yet, knew nothing about cycling, and the most I got from my doc was "go use it". The only use was for sex until 5 months when I found FT. From my pre-ED days my guess is I've lost just over an inch in length, but my girth is very similar. I have only used a tape measure once to size my penis. It's unimportant to me as long as it gets hard!
