So, I am a few weeks out and, of course, questions keep popping into my head.
The recent one that is kinda stuck there is about the ball/pump that I will squeeze.
Is it uncomfortable? I mean, it is right between your legs so I imagine it takes some time to get used to.
Can you feel it all the time? Is is strange to sit? Is it noticable?
I keep looking for videos or photos and allI can find is cock photos, which does not seem to help me understand this part.
Sorry if this has been answered before. I did a search and was unable to find this one.
Thanks guys!

Re: Tell me about the ball
My answers:
1. It may have been a bit uncomfortable at first. I'm 4-5 months out. I don't notice it at all.
2. Not noticeable to me at all.
3. Go on YouTube, Clavell has a number of videos. There are probably others.

Re: Tell me about the ball
As I mentioned in your other thread, I have a Titan Touch. The experience w/the AMS will differ and others can provide that insight.
I have no problem inflating or deflating my Titan. My pump is placed perfectly between my nuts and it's easy for me to squeeze the pump to inflate the implant one handed.
This required a little but not a lot of practice on my part.
Here's a link to a YouTube video on my docs website which demos the inflation & deflation of a Titan Touch. You may have to "sign in" to see the video: https://youtu.be/Ls1fe7jRAzo
Some people w/the AMS complain that their bulb is "too hard" to press early only.
I never had that problem w/my Titan. I normally squeeze the pump bulb 30x's to inflate my implant to max with 1 or 2 touch up of 5-10 squeezes every 30 mins or so.
Deflation is a 2 hand operation. It is more difficult to do than inflation but, again just requires some practice.

You will feel it for some time and it will take a while to toughen up the scrotum to operate it. I also felt mine on bumpy rides. My pump is very low and in the back. doctors differ on this though. This is a good video for the AMS implant but the Titan is similar and the part about inflating can be used. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwp0YfSLxIU It has a real man operating the device.
Good luck and welcome to the site.

Re: Tell me about the ball
Which kind of procedure will you have? Infrapubic or penoscrotal?
Mine is as penoscrotal and the pump placement is perfect. Low and behind the original neighbors. I cannot be seen (though, as is the case will all pumps, it can be felt by an exploring partner). I did consult with Dr. Perito who told me that using his infrapubic technique i would need to “pull the pump down” in the initial stages. The surgeon i chose said i’d not need to do this with the penoscrotal approach, which was true. It’s perfectly placed, with even the pump release valve in a perfect ergonomic position when placing my right hand down to deflate. (i don’t have to twist my hand or the pump). The IP guys overall seem happy with their results it seems, that’s just my experience.
My scrotum was tender and sore for about a full month when sitting. I used a donut cushion which greatly helped. 9 weeks postop now and i don’t feel a thing typically. I rode my motorcycle for the first time about a week ago and there was some pressure there i could feel causing me to have to shift my weight.
Basically, in short order it will become part of you and you won’t notice it under everyday circumstances.

Re: Tell me about the ball
I think you'll find the answers may be a little different for everyone. I'm 4 weeks post surgery and I'm not aware of the pump at all except when I feel my ball sack and there it is. The first week or so I was swollen and it was difficult to feel the entire pump and especially the deflate button, but that has all resolved, I have an AMS 700. My doc let me start cycling at 2 weeks. The bulb was difficult to fully squeeze when I first started cycling and I had trouble finding the deflate button. Once I hit week 3 it's been a breeze.
The first 2 weeks until my follow appointment were the worst, mostly because being partially inflated and pointing my penis up with snug underwear was very uncomfortable and I also had very painful urination the first couple weeks. Really no big deal in the total scheme of things.
Good luck and don't fret too much about what might be. I also worried about how it would feel with foreign objects implanted in me, but it has been no issue for me.

This is me, just over 3 weeks post and I'm not aware of the pump at all. Like ThailandBound, I have penoscrotal by Dr. Clavell and the pump seems to be perfectly placed just to the left of the midline just a shade behind my port side testicle. I can easily move it behind the starboard testicle if I'd like to, but it's not an issue either way. From the day after my surgery when I took off the wrapping I could easily find and identify all parts of the pump and deflation button without pain.
It does feel like a hard marble now, but I've not attempted to do anything with it until directed to by Dr. Clavell, so I'm not sure how hard it will be to pump.
It can't be seen inside my scrotum, although I would assume getting out of a hot tub with no suit on in mixed company and an interested party looking right there might see #3.

I think we must like the same kind of parties Jage.
The fun part is now i don’t have to sit in the hot tub for awhile to actually have something obvious and hanging there!

I'll be scheduling a visit to our favorite nudist resort this fall and plan on living out this scenario in person.

Yes, you are going to feel it for a while, maybe 3-4 months until the two boys get used to a neighbor. You'll always know it's there, but it won't bother you unless you sit wrong.
