Quick Question: Whats the max girth with Malleable?

Anyone know the max girth you can have with a Malleable implant?

Thanks all!

If I was looking for a mallable ( and I may in the future ) I would contact Hakky or Perito. They both offer malleables and the urofil injections which which would help with the girth issue. I talked to another member on here who had an IPP but wasnt satisfied with the girth/oval look and he had good things to say about the urofil injections that he had done.

Most max girth I've seen listed is 13 mm per rod, but I wouldn't max out the rod size. I've seen studies where larger girth in malleables led to more bad outcomes, particularly erosion.

I don't have time to look for them or link them now, but I can remember one in particular done I think in Turkey or the middle east and they concluded it was better to go smaller in girth to avoid complications

If you have a malleable you are going to lose a lot of length and girth, it's just something you have to psychologically accept

13mm is correct at least for the studies I read about. I did consider malleable, but it seems like a far worse solution compared to IPP. The erosion issue isn't non-existent in ipp, but it is much more common in malleable rods in the largest size (13mm)... and the girth of the rods determines patient satisfaction rating the study said as well.

The study I think mark is referring to is this one-- but there are a couple more with similar outcomes.

Sorry guys I meant what girth would the 13 mm give a person - I’m sure there’s a set size even though everyone’s different.
