I just had a little encouraging discovery.
My pump is turned sideways, which is why I couldn't find the deflate button.
The swelling has finally subsided enough that I can stand to squeeze. When I pushed the deflate button I felt and heard a little vibration, and my dick started deflating from it's 40% or so state.
Next, I managed to squeeze the pump hard enough to feel a little pop, but I could only get 2 or 3 partial pumps before it again got rock-hard. (The pump, that is.)
Should I try the hard quick squeeze to see if the valve is not fully resetting? I'm a little afraid the bulb will slip from between my fingers and I'll crush a testicle.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this. Hope things are getting better from here on out.

Feb 9 op for me. I keep trying to squeeze the bulb but nothing happens. Same story from Doc. Don''t worry about it. So my activation date is Mar 24 two weeks from now. So will let you know how it goes probably PM. Keep the faith.

So this may sound strange but now i'm just past 5 weeks post op. During my hot soak today i was able to relax everything downstairs and was feeling around a bit better. Originally I thought it was high and stuck to the backside of the incision. I'm 99.5% convinced that its stuck sideways. The bulb is stuck to my sack for sure. I can feel almost the whole diameter of the bulb except for the side facing the sack. I cant feel the release button either because it is actually facing up since the pump is sideways. WTF??? I try separating but damn if that hurts for the next couple of days also.

Doctors tack pump with dissolving stich, for the healing process. Your condition is normal. May have been noted in your surgery report.

i have a similar problem, i'm 5 and a half weeks out from surgery, and i feel the pump too high, banging against my penis. more or less like the picture i drew. I have to see the Doctor next week, but I don't understand how he can get it down without incising, has this happened to anyone else? and has it resolved?

That picture is exactly what I'm feeling, including the pump being rotated with the deflate button on the left instead of the front.

I think the OP was implanted by Dr. Eid. I’d guess if anybody knows that roper placement it’s him. Perhaps a phone call identifying if the issues are with the stitch is in order. I feel lucky, my doc couldn’t have placed it better. It’s almost as if it’s at the perfect ergonomic angle, low and behind the original neighbors. No casual observer would see.

I don’t know, speculating here, but starting at week 3 i can taking 2 daily light walks. Just around the block. Twice daily. Each week i increased the distances. by week 6, activation day i was doing 2 walks of 1.5 mikes each. Can’t help but think that all that scrotal shifting had to help keep things loosened up. Maybe try that.

And what did the doctor say to you? Does it seem normal to him? Will it come down on its own? Unfortunately I live in Italy and had the implantation in Turkey, so I won't see the doctor until 23 March, but you can get checked out

Bigdave wrote:I had my implant on Feb 7th, and I had a lot of swelling for the first two weeks. My Scrotum was the size of a grapefruit, and my penis also swelled around the base of the glans.
My glans is still very sensitive, with some minor swelling that subsides when sleeping. Anything touching it feels like sandpaper. :(
Moreover, the pump seems to be stuck to the front of my scrotum. The skin is still pretty thick, making it impossible to find the deflate button. I've been trying to pull it down, and to also roll the skin to try to peel it free from the pump, but not having much success. After 2+ weeks I went to have it checked, and the nurse said it was looking normal, but with a bit more swelling than usual. She also could not find the button.
The doctor came in and also tried. I finally had to stop him, as it felt like my balls were in a vise as he tried to manipulate the pump.

I was advised against baths, but I'm now 20 days post op. I wonder if a daily hot bath would help loosen things up?

I'm interested if anyone else has had a similar experience. What, if anything needed to be done, and how did it turn out?

hi, did you solve it? did the pump move downwards or is it still attached to the front of your scrotum?
