Been here a month reading. Getting more involved

Postby SWOhio » Thu Mar 23, 2023 1:33 pm

Hi, just getting my feet wet here and trying to learn more about what my urologist has told me is where I am headed. Things I learned so far are the two diferent types of IPPs. Not sure if one is better than the other or why. the newest revelation is there are two different surgery methods. Thats very new and what is next on my list to learn about.

Thanks for the very informative site

Good luck - keep reading and researching right here, it's a great big family.

Initially, I might recommend not getting too focused on the types of procedures or implant brands. Focus on the DOC you are going to choose! High volume, great reputation. Then work your way backward on the rest. If your first choice surgeon doesn't offer what you think you need, go to the next great DOC.

thanks for the Doc advice. I'm actually trying to now expand the area where I'm looking. Southwest Ohio is dominated by a group that I'm not sure I am confortable with
