Dear all, I am getting ready to contact my URO about getting an implant. I have been down the pill (all of them), pump and am now using trimix. It is getting to be too much of a hassle fighting with express scripts (I am a military veteran), to get them to cover the trimix. I have been on trimix for over three years and every time I have had to find a new compounding pharmacy to make it for me it has taken months to get all the crap straightened out in order to get the trimix at a price I can afford, so I have decided to go the implant route.
NOW, what I am looking for is a few of you guys who have gone through the entire process of getting an implant. I would like to hear your experiences, both good and bad. I am 76 years old, have a beer belly and have to use a mirror to give myself the trimix injections.
You can PM me or email me and we can discuss everything. I would prefer email if possible.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from anyone.

Everything you need to know is already here. Don't rely only on the those who respond to this thread.
Everyone has their own prejudices and biases, as far as what's good or bad in terms of getting any implant, but if you read EVERY thread on FrankTalk going back as far as you can manage, you'll to get a PhD in penile implant information and you'll be far more knowledgeable than most men in the world in terms of what to expect before getting an IPP implant.
Then do some supplemental research to fill in the gaps to make the most informed decision that you can make before getting an IPP implant.
Good luck!

Flyingduck,
Are you a retired military veteran that has full TriCare for Life and Medicare benefits, or did you serve for a short period of time and have VA medical benefits or did you get separated from the military because of a medical condition?

sswinsfba is right on here. There's too much info at your fingertips to rely on just the few that might respond here. Invest in your sexual health, spend the time and ask the questions.

Re: Need implant information
Thanks guys for the inputs, I will check them out.
Yes, I am a retired Air Force Msgt with medicare and tricare for life full benefits. I just discovered today that with both of those I can get 100% coverage for a implant and it won't cost me a penny. I do get my medications through the VA (they are free that way) and I have a 90% disability rating from the VA due to hearing loss while in the service.

I sent you a Private Message, so I could discuss more about our military insurance system and the routes you can take.
