Cannot deflate PLS HELP!

Postby aussiePeyronies » Sat Mar 25, 2023 9:49 pm

From last night, I have been having delfating issues. I pumped last night but could not deflate, at some point, I hit the deflate valve and pump at the same time and managed to deflate it.

Today, I cycled, now I am trying to deflate, no matter what, I can't deflate! I am stuck with an erection, I have tried pressing the deflate valve and pump at the same time!

It seems like the device just will not deflate, or the valve just will not work.

Everything was working fine, I have been cycling twice a day for 9 days, this all just started last night.

I have no idea what is going on, please help, my only other option is to go to emergency which I do not want to do just yet!

Hey Aussie---
I just started inflating and deflating but after surgery I searched for guidance on these issues and ran across:

https://iu.coloplast.us/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Tips-Tricks-to-Ensure-Success-Titan-IPP-Pump-Guide.pdf

Also Dr. Clavell's you tube video is helpful:

Perhaps the deflate button has gotten turned 90 degrees so you might try it the in all directions. I assume this is a touch model pump. My surgeon just yesterday at my activation meeting warned me about that deflate assembly rotating sometimes. Lots of moving parts to these things, I guess.

Please don't panic, maybe you can call your uro surgeon hotline or answering serrvice and get some help if necessary or get sent to a hospital with an on -call urologist to help you out. Anyway--Please know someone in the states gives a damn about what you are going through.

Stay in touch hit me up anytime. Randy

focus hard on giving long presses from every angle on the deflate bar. When i’m fully hard i cannot even feel the fluid moving out of my dick (which i’m squeezing) for a minute or so. Have moments of “uh oh”, but they’ve always resolved.

I’m sure you’ve tried, but don’t give up.

I have nothing to add to the post above, which sounds like a good starting point. Please keep us informed.

ThailandBound - thanks so much.

Randalltx - Thank you so much man, really appreciate it. I was freaking out.

I have deflated successfully twice a day for the last 9 days. Not sure what on earth happened, but I managed to fix it by giving the deflate valve an extremely hard squeeze, instantly started to deflate.

This has never happened before, I was inflated for about 2 hours. Usually I squeeze moderately and squeeze penis and it deflates.

No idea what happned but I am glad it's over. Bit worried about continuing cycling.

Has any ever experienced this? Almost 7 weeks post op and bout 10 days into cycling.

Aussie--
I am happy you were able to deflate.

It was emphasixed by my surgeon yesterday at my activation that whenever deflating the Titan, it is critical to inflate it a couple of pumps right after deflation to avoid a stiff or sticky deflate button. Hope that helps.

Be there next year Aussie, cruising down. Our 5th visit. About October. Hopefully, I will be pumping and dumping before then.

Glad you were able to solve your problem but it sounds like you are still confused what method to use to reliably deflate your implant.

FWIW, I've found that I need to hold the deflate button down firmly and continuously with my left hand while squeezing my dick to deflate the implant with my right hand.

I have not had any problems deflating my implant in this manner.

My doc said that men who have problems deflating their implants often do so because they do not hold the deflate button down firmly enough.

----------------------------------------------

Also, despite the marketing material, the Titan Touch is does not actually deflate with only "One Touch."

I initially tried using the 1-2 "One Touch" method but the deflate valve would always close too soon which required me to "one touch" the button again at least 2 more times to fully deflate my implant.

It takes me about 30 secs to fully deflate my implant, so I only release the deflate button after about 20 secs. I'm still squeezing my dick and the implant is still deflating for the remaining 10 secs after I release the button.

----------------------------------------------

Good luck finding the method of deflation that reliably works best for you.

Thanks, the thing is, I have successfully deflated twice a day for the past 9 days with no issues. So, I don't think it's error or confusion on my end.

This is the first time this has happened. It's almost like the valve was stuck.

Will try again tonight and see what happens.

Appreciate the responses.
