Frustration with no orgasm

I had the AMS 700 implant 6 weeks ago last Friday and have now been having sex for two weeks. I had a radical prostatectomy many years ago, and although I could no longer have an ejaculation, I could still have a fulfilling dry orgasm. My frustration with sex since my implant is I have been unable to have an orgasm. I have good sensation in the head of my penis, but most of my shaft is still quite numb. More so the closer I get to my body and the incision area. I’m beginning to wonder if this is the problem. Will this typically become more sensitive again, as time further increases from my surgery?

This has been covered many times. And there is even a section of this site that is for delayed ejaculation. You are early in recovery. Think of a knee replacement. takes a long time to walk normally. Sure you can stand on it and maybe take some walks with a walker or some other help. But it is a while before you can go for long normal walks. I had the same trouble and could not at first. I would try and just get tired and give up. I am fine now but it took a long time. I have an implant now. There are cylinders in my penis now. It is just bit different. Nerve healing takes a long time. I injured my femoral nerve and lost the quad muscles in my left leg. Took almost 2 years for them to start to come back. If a nerve is working AC current will cause a muscle to twitch. Mine did not. DC current will cause the muscle to twitch or contract and was used to reduce atrophy until the nerve healed. Your chances are very good that things will return to normal but it will take time. 6 months, a year, less, I don't know. Just do what your doctor says to do. Cycling and infection prevention and have fun with it. Mine went from no orgasm to very slow ones and then over time they increased in speed util I was back very close to normal.

You’re way to early to worry too much about this. Rest your mind.

I’m 11 1/2 weeks postop. I didn’t even fuck until the 9 week mark. What you describe, shaft numbness, numbness at the injection site: ditto. But in only 2 weeks it’s improving as the nerves continue to heal. The knee replacement analogy above is a good one.

You’re in recovery. Be patient. I’m only coming 50% of the time, but even then, i am grateful to be fucking at all.

same thing for me, I'm 9 weeks and 1 day, last night I fucked, then the annoyance begins that doesn't allow me to reach orgasm, I started at 65/70% that I feel more comfortable without any particular discomfort, but then the cock bends at a certain point, I'm forced to give other pumps, and then more, and there begins the strong discomfort that turns into pain, at this point I can't reach orgasm anymore, I've lost girth so I I see forced to pump to the maximum, while before I felt the rubbing of the pussy now due to loss of circumference I don't feel the adherence of the pussy, yet they say that the titan gives circumference, it took it away from me apart from which it became oval and flat when it is maximally inflated

I had this problem BEFORE my implant.

I haven't yet been able to f*ck to see if it's still a problem postOP or not but I have been able to achieve the Big O while masturbating. So, I'm still hopeful that I can do so when I find a f*ck partner again.

now I masturbated pumped to the max and I reached orgasm, I think it's much easier to reach it by masturbating than by fucking, it wasn't very pleasant because I felt a slight discomfort that disturbed the pleasure, but I noticed that much more cum comes out than before the implant , it will be because the orgasm comes very slowly, however good, it means that I'm healing, until a few days ago I couldn't even masturbate pumped to the maximum

Very similar here also. First few months was a hit and miss… mostly miss. By 4-6 months it was probably 60% of the time. Now 10 months out it’s every time almost at will. Time will heal. Stay at it,relax and enjoy!

This is a good report from someone several months in. Hoping for sane result here. I’m fucking daily now at 11 weeks out but cumming only about 50% of the time. I have to remind myself that i’m still in rehab/cycling phase and look forward to a similar improvement.

Still, cumming 50% of the time, and fucking 100% of the time, at will, is still pretty awesome. Frustrating for my girl who wishes i’d cum 100% of the time….but she’s a trooper and is always hopeful for the next time.
