Most of this forum is populated by old men more than double our age, they are living very different sex lives to a young man so while the opinions are valid, just take that into consideration. I am 30, had embolization done 4-5 years ago. It helps, then it fades. I think its typical. So no need to worry/regret passing that step. It also comes with its own possible complications.

About injections, i think you are from UK, kinda surprised your doc is reluctant giving you shots. I thought it is standart algorhytm in UK trying all other standart therapies (pills pump and injections) before jumping to implant. Anyway my Uro also told me if I cant work it out with pills next step would be the implant and injections are not his treatment of choice for young (possibly because of scarring risk or priapism maybe)

How is it going with implant, whats the sensation like? Did you have any chance trying it solo or with a partner? Tell us.

I'm 6 weeks in, I got the biggest implant they've ever done, the pump is well placed and easy to use and Ive had no pain or complications since surgery. I just pains me to know I will never get a natural erection ever again, not that I was before as Ive relied on pills since being a teenager, but I do have the 'what if' factor of not trying the injections or embolization. I hope I will come around to mentally accepting and enjoying it but I feel it will take a while.
Ive masturbated pretty much everyday since i was deflated, sensation feels pretty much the same, I don't really like how flat and oval it looks when hard but I've taken Cialis and that helps alot with engorgement of the glands and rounds out the whole penis so might stick with that. Ive not had sex with it yet, I think I am going to get an escort for the first time, Ive not had one before but I feel it might be good just so there's no emotional obstacles with it on the first go. Id like to be able to cum easier with it, hopefully will come in time. The big flaccid in jeans or work pants is kinda forced to bend and so Ive been getting abit of swelling at the bend so it looks like a weird alien when I pull it out, band it stays when I pump it up, not very presentable, I'm hoping that the tubes soften or the skin gets used to this so the swelling stops, if I'm in loose gym pants it doesn't happen.
I'm hoping I can become comfortable enough with it soon to be able to fuck girls I have done in the past when the pills worked, just explaining what the fuck the hard plastic shit in my sack is to them is my next hurdle

I decided against injections for a couple of reasons.

1. When I went to the Doc for them, he injected me (trimix), it worked, I was sore, and achy afterwards. \
2. I have a hard time injecting myself with a needle. Always afraid to hit as nerve (did once injection TRT) and trying that on something as delicate as the penis I certainly didn't want to screw that up.

Also you run the risk of creating scar tissue long term, so eventually when you do decide to finally get an implant, that may or may not affect your overall size.

That being said, the implant was the best choice for me... Now that's not without saying that I put it off since 2019 but mostly due to Covid nonsense. I'm just over a week post OP and even at 60% inflated I'm thrilled to death that it's even semi erect.

I had been using Sildenafil 100mg in conjunction with a VED to achieve a usable erection. I'm glad to put those days behind me.

I do wish I would've done this sooner but still being young helps the healing process speed along.

Update i was again with my urologist. He injected me with max dose of alpostradil 40ug.

I had only a chubby afterwards. He told me that my spongy tissues do not hold blood. There was no leakage found, TRT was low but i have tested TRT ALREADY NOTHING CHANGED.

He said implant is the way to go and the cost will be covered by insurance.

Best of luck moving forward. Getting implanted is a scary thought, and I imagine even more so at a young age.

That’s exactly how I feel. The older men on these forums are so all-in on the implant and maybe for them rightfully so. If you’re not able to get hard and all of a sudden you can have sex again you’re probably ecstatic. But I’m 34, still fairly young and single. I’m not in the same frame of mind as a married man and these young girls expect spontaneous sex. I bought the whole “nobody will ever notice” thing and it couldn’t be further from the truth. My penis feels so unnatural I’m actually embarrassed by it with all the tubing and bulging cylinders. My first urologist offered me grafting surgery and I wish I did it instead of the implant. I got good erections still but my hourglassing was pretty bad and I had painful erections. I’m 15 months out from implant and I still have painful erections, only I now have an unnatural feeling penis. Think long and hard before you make the plunge if you’re young. Maybe in 10-15 years they’ll develop new implants

I think based on the ground reality i have to take a decision. I don't get hard past 30% no matter i use max pde5, not responding to vaccum and not to injections. I want to live a life with someone, living alone for the rest of my life does not attract me.

It’s a hard call because a lot of doctors say over time injections damage your dick causing it to shrink. Perito says implant is the only thing that will prevent atrophy. So the question is do you want more natural erections with injections at the cost of atrophy and scarring over time? Or do you want the implant to prevent atrophy and guarantee erections but at the cost of loss of your spontaneous etections?

It’s a very difficult call imo
