Pain when pressing on glans

I seem to be getting a lot of pain if I press on the glans, even if I press on it softly just to wipe pee. I'll have pain, sometimes it lasts for 20m - 1 hour, sometimes it subsides quickly.

Anyone experienced this?

I doubt that you'll get much advice since you've had a rather uncommon surgery done.
So I'll suggest that you try Aspercreme. Not sure if its in Australia. Its a cream that is spread on muscles & other areas that are sore. Like from exercising too much. You can try googling it to see what the ingredients are. A similar product might be there but using a different name. Many members report that it helped them with shaft pain. Might work on the head but try it sparingly at first to see if you're allergic to it.

I personally would be slow to comment how common it is. Certainly, there is a large variation in the implant surgery. I.E. plaque, peyronies & fibrosis. Treating & perhaps excising those things can mean that there is a lot of sub groups of patient experiences.
You know that you're an uncommon case. I'm sure that rather extensive cutting, stretching & probing was done. It'll be a challenge as nerves wake up or heal, tissue heals & stretches due to the implant.
I still think it'll be worth your time to investigate the Aspercream. Relatively cheap, easy to apply or remove. No harmful ingredients that I'm aware of. Its sold over the counter here. No notes or prescription from a dr is needed. There is even a generic no-name version of it here.

I’m not sure if anyone totally answered your question. I am 11 month post implant. Glans pain is very common with these surgeries and it can last a very long time to heal with pain on and off. I still have some pain that comes and goes and speak with my doctor frequently about it. It also depends on how far into the glands the cylinders are. A lot of nerves there that need to get used to an intruder. A lot of people use the Aspercreme. Also, hot baths to help soften everything. I was so sensitive when I first had the surgery, I could not even have a sheet on top of me. I cut a blanket in half and totally wrapped it around my penis standing straight in the air. You’re fairly recent with your surgery and I think the glans are the worst for the recovery. Hang in there because it does get better, but it can take up to a year for everything to really calm down. Even though you hear, six weeks, three months, six months… Whatever… I think a year might be the magic number. It’s kind of ironic… We pay to get hard, but we want everything inside to get soft… Lol… Good luck!

Can you comment on whether your erection went from oval to more round as time went on as well?

No, I did not return to oval or round. Actually, they call it the "coffin effect".
Kind of square on top and round to oval on the sides. But, not horribly square on top- just a little. Oval and round on the sides to the bottom. Lots of changes to get used to but you will adjust. It's like you bought a new dick and have to learn all about it. But,as time progresses you stop thinking about everything being so new and different. Good luck!
