Surgery Tomorrow 4-18-2023

Postby Buzzer » Mon Apr 17, 2023 7:17 pm

I will be having the AMS CX implant in the morning.

Final follow up appointment on June 2, 2023.

I went back and forth on which implant I would choose several times, but I am now committed to the AMS CX unit. The doctor let me choose which implant.

It will from the top Infra pubic as oppsed to from the Scrotum.

My Doctor is Mrs. Yooni Blair from Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI.
It is fully covered by my insurance.

My wife will be with me.

To say I am a little nervous is an understatement.

Wish me luck

We've all been there man, deep breaths. Just remember where you're going will be much better than where you are. When the alternative is to do nothing and stay in the rut you're in, it's easier to look ahead to better days.

I look back and remember being apprehensive, but what's the worst that can happen? A dick that doesn't work? I've already got that, so let's light this candle!

Good luck and godspeed. I don't know about infrapubic per se, but I can tell you that ICE ICE ICE was my best friend for the first 48 hours. Flat on my back and everything in an ice sandwich. I had very little pain, no bruising to speak of and all in all a very easy recovery.

All the best with your surgery. I had mine done on April 5th, the first week was pretty rough, but it does get easier, so just take it one day at a time knowing that it will getting better fast.

And a new chapter begins for you. Please keep us posted.

1. Believe in your choice to go forward.

2. Believe in your surgeon.

Remember - the benefit will outweigh the burden, and you will soon be fornicating like a rabbit!!!

I got a Titan infrapublic implant exactly 12 weeks ago today.

My infrapublic incision was fully healed w/in a week when I was approved to begin cycling. I was approved to have sex after 3 wks but didn't feel well enough to begin that until wk 8.

Now, after 12 wks, I've used my implant successfully multiple times, have adjusted to the new "normal" and am very happy w/the result.

Good luck & best wishes for a successful surgery and prompt recovery. :)

Re: Surgery Tomorrow 4-18-2023 - Update

Postby Buzzer » Tue Apr 18, 2023 6:54 pm

I am home now, surgery went well. The doctor installed an AMS CX 21 cm. I do not know much more than that until I get a chance to follow up with the doctor.

My penis is heavily wrapped up. I have a Catheter installed and that is not too bad, that all comes off tomorrow. There is no drain installed.

I am not in pain, but I can tell I was bruised a lot. Michigan Medicine ( U of M) did a good job and I was treated well.

More updates in the morning.
