revision surgery for a faulty pump

Postby cobylinks » Sat Apr 22, 2023 12:59 pm

Recently developed a faulty pump in my implant (which I love).
The Implant is only 3 1/2 years old but wont inflate as It wont draw fluid from the 125cc reservoir.
Surgeon said that he is going to replace the entire unit instead of just the pump.
Also stated that he may up size me.
I was happy with what i had but will take more if I can get it.
Questions: Surgery isn't until July unless they have a cancellation,
should I be using a pump during the waiting period to maintain size ?
Will the vacuum engorge my penis even with my broken pump?
(Pump deflates but wont inflate).
All assistance is appreciated.
Received implants 10/4/19 Coloplast 24cm + 1cm RTE
