11 weeks out - downwards pressure on flaccid

Postby aussiePeyronies » Tue Apr 25, 2023 1:01 am

If I tuck my flaccid downwards in tight clothes to conceal it, how likely is it that it will affect my erection angle?

Guys on the peyronies forum seem to believe that, up to 4 months post surgery, any downwards pressure on your flaccid, will result in a downwards erection angle.

Then I’ve seen guys here wear tight clothes and tuck their flaccid down at 8 weeks and have completely fine erection angles. Merrix is one example. Also, seen guys that have downwards erection angles here.

Can someone please comment? I’m going a bit insane being so immobile not being able to walk, drive, go out. I really want to just put clothes on, conceal my flaccid and go out. It’s been 11 weeks exactly.

Thank you,
J

According to what I have read here and what my surgeon told me it’s recommended to tuck your Penis upwards for the first few months to get a better erection angle. I’d try to stick with that.

However, I don’t have any personal experience since my operation will be in October.

I'm already pointing straight out now. Before my erection angle was high. Definitely looks odd to me but tbh I don't think this is something women will be concerned about.

I am interested in improving it though and asked Dr. Hakky about improving the erection angle and he said the only fix is surgical. So you guys leave the D pointing up all day? Seems Like it would be tough?

At about 6 weeks I started positioning down my left leg. Could not tolerate straight up for any length of time. When inflated it sticks straight out at 3 o'clock. Now I'm able to position it any angle, up, down, side to side without any problem or soreness.

This is good to know. Having a 3o clock erection angle, is pretty much normal? So, evn though you positioned it down at week 6, it didn't really make a big difference?

Pointing straight out at 3 o clock is odd? Straight out is quite normal.

You are early in your recovery too, it could be that you're unable to pump enough yet. Few more weeks, you may get more pumps in, resulting in a 2:45 erection angle

I don't think it made any difference. Time healed any soreness and as I said, it can get pointed to any angle now. As much as it sticks out to 3 o'clock when inflated, it angles up during sex in missionary. At 3 o'clock it's perfect for doggy!

That would be great :D do you leave yours upward pointed all day? or what's your protocol for that? I've been leaving mine down but wearing loose fitting boxers and it sticks out a bit. The only time I push mine down with compression shorts is at the gym or when I'm around people that knew me before surgery because the bulge is obvious.

Although i don't have an IPP. I have a Rigicon's malleable implant. But just like you i am 34 and i had the same concerns. When i started bending my flaccid downwards, i was always worried that my hinge will bend permanently and erection angle would be somewhat downwards. But then, i was do hell with i'll burn that bridge once i arrive there. You have IPP, you will keep you flaccid downwards to conceal it. I mean why else would you even get an IPP if it is not for the comfort of it. So, it has been almost 5 months since my surgery now. And i can assure you that i worried for nothing. The erection angle is still the same. However more people with IPP would be able to tell you better.

Can someone please comment? I’m going a bit insane being so immobile not being able to walk, drive, go out. I really want to just put clothes on, conceal my flaccid and go out. It’s been 11 weeks exactly.

You should be able to go out, walk and even drive by now. Is your recovery coming around all right? Relax a little, you're already through with the hard part.

You're already in the gym??? Your surgery was after mine. I am not game enough to go to the gym yet. So, you point it down in compression shorts and this isn't an issue?

Why are you concerned about your 3 o clock erection angle? That would be an erection that points completely out? That is normal isn't it?

To answer your question, For the first 4 weeks, when sleeping, I left mine pointing up towards belly button. When walking anywhere I left it pointing up in my clothes. Nowadays, if I am wearing loose clothes I leave it out, my flaccid will point out at about 4 o clock.

When going out I try to point it up, but I have just left it out in loose clothes.

I really want to point it down in clothes n conceal it so I can go gym n stuff. Just not sure if at this stage it can still affect the erection angle. Seems like it didn't for Merrix.
