Hello friends,
I have (or had) erectile dysfunction problems since the beginning of my sexual life (16 years old), all this due to a venous leak that was discovered at the age of 26, I had a surgery without success, at the age of 35 I decided to get a prosthesis of penis. My surgery was 12 days ago, I looked for a reputable surgeon, I traveled from Colombia to have surgery with Dr. Natalio Cruz in Spain, so far everything seems to be going very well, I had moderate pain for the first three days and my wound is healing very well , the surgery was penescrotal.
He gave me the AMS 700 LGX prosthesis, two things happen that may be normal, so that's why I come to you.
- One of the cylinders is a little longer than the other, maybe only half a centimeter, is this normal? will it be solved? (attached image in which I marked the position of each cylinder)
- My left testicle is very high, practically below my penis and the right one falls completely, is it normal? Before the surgery my left testicle fell more, will it be solved? thank you so much
My doctor just told me that it would all settle down, but I'm a little worried that this will cause problems when I have sex.
I'm glad I found you, what a pity it wasn't before because I have suffered a lot with my erectile dysfunction and few people understand it.
Thanks

Re: New to penile implant - My cylinder is longer than the other and
By the looks it all looks normal to me. Cycling the device will help to know the correct position of the cylinder tips.
Regarding the left testicle higher up vs the right one, I have the same thing. I asked my surgeon about it and was told it happens because of the way stitches are done. Also the problem is more visible when scrotum is soft and hanging. When the scrotum will be hard and constricted you will not see this. Was told that this will improve with time.
My suggestion would be to relax and focus on recovery and then cycling. You can ask these questions to your surgeon on a follow up visit/call.
To me it all looks normal but I am not a doctor. I can only tell from my recent surgery experience.

Thank you for your answer, the truth is that I have been somewhat anxious about the subject, reading what you tell me reassures me, thank you very much

Thanks! I will be telling you about my process, I still cannot fully inflate it due to medical recommendation, when I can do it I will let you know how it goes, thank you very much.

Re: New to penile implant - My cylinder is longer than the other and
As said by others, you won’t know til you’re able to inflate. You should have or be able to get a detail sheet as to what length implant you got and if any rear tip extenders were used in some cases I’ve read where a Dr will use different lengths on ea side if they measure a different during surgery. Could be the case with yours. Either way there’s nothing to do but wait now until you’re healed enough to start cycling to see if it balances out. The festival thing sounds normal. Since surgery my left testical is tight and up my eft hangs low. Pump is perfectly centered and down low. Things will settle in as internal swelling and irritation goes away.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

Hey there,
I'm 3 weeks post surgery and having the same issues with left testicle hanging up vs the right one which down and pain free since it's not attached to the pump. I had seroma around my pump in the first 2 weeks but it's gone now yet I feel discomfort from my left hanging testicle.
Did things got better for you?
