New to implant

I'm new to the implants. I have had a AMS 700 CX installed with the MS pump. The implant is 21cm x 12mm with 1.5cm rear tip extenders and I have the conceal reservoir. It was installed on 4-12-23 and left probably at 50 to 60% inflated. I keep pulling down on the pump like I was told but as I was one evening I believe I accidently pressed the deflate button as I pulled down ( it did start to get softer ) so I pressed the bulb hard felt the pop and the bulb compressed firmly once, it reinflated but I could not in any way press the pump a second time it was full and very hard. Since I was back to about the same hardness I left it alone. Now yesterday 4-24-23 after work I noticed it's not quite as firm or doesn't feel like it is as firm as it was. So I tried to squeeze the bulb and I could but it went flat and as I pressed it I could hear and feel what sounded like air in the system as well. The bulb stayed flat for awhile but reinflated. What I'd like to know is if the pumps have a little air in them when implanted, if not, then how could air get into a implanted system? Do you think I should press the deflate button, deflate it then try to pump it back up to about the same hardness it was after surgery or wait till my Drs appt next week? The bulb before ( after I accidently deflated a little and pumped it once ) has been rock hard, so hard that when I did try pressing on it a few times felt if I kept trying it would burst as there was no give to it. I've seen in the forums here and other places where people say the Dr has to "activate" or "release" the pump for it to work. The rods still feel firm so maybe they've just settled into place and that's why they feel different or have I somehow damaged them, the pump, or reservoir during my daily routine. Like I said last night I squeezed the bulb not very hard but firmly and I could hear it squish ( the air bubbles rushing through the pump ) and it compressed but wouldn't immediately refill, I could stop pressing then add a bit more and it would come back some but had the squish sound/feeling. Guess I'm just wondering/worried I might have damaged it somehow but for the life of me I can't figure out how there could be air in the system especially since it's supposed to be purged during implantation.

Not an expert on this. I've read that the material, I think its the reservoir. Is air permeable. Thus any air in the system should slowly escape & dissipate via your body. No idea how long that process takes.

I was told by Dr that they purge all the air they can put but that the reservoir allows an air to seep out but obviously nothing can get in or fluid won’t get out. I also felt some squishey and air bubbles sounds when I first started inflating but haven’t in many months. As far as you damaging the pump by mashing it… it’s highly unlikely you could do any harm to it. After surgery I was left at about 49-50% inflated and at my one week checkup I asked the Dr if I could start cycling.. he said he usually waits 4 weeks but I had almost no swelling and he let me slightly deflate and reinflate it in his office to show I could. He let me do as much as I wanted and said to gradually build over the next couple weeks.

John I wonder if the valve in the pump is stuck? I'm 2 months post-op and completely recovered and now I'm quite used to using my AMS 700. When your cock is deflated and you want to pump it up, you need to quite aggressively press the bulb the first time. This resets the 2-way valve (you can feel a little click when this happens). Give that a try.

I do get the "pop" and get it consistently. I pressed the deflate button today ( April 25th ) and could feel / hear the fluid moving back through the pump and by pressed I mean I held it in about 5 seconds. Then I gave the pump a good hard "squeeze" felt the pop and pressed til the bulb flattened but it's very slow to fill back up, almost like it's only cycling the fluid from the implant to the pump and not pulling the fluid from the reservoir. I've read and seen in videos where they say the surgeon has to "release" or "activate" the pump, could there be a post surgery "button" or possibly they've sutured the line closed? Since I've pressed the button and released some of the fluid back I can't seem to pump it back to post surgery stiffness meaning the rods feel somewhat stiff ( but can be bent 90 degrees so it's not fully inflated ) and I cant seem to inflate it fully at all. I just don't know if this is just because the swelling is almost gone and the implants are settling down into the correct positions, or because I've let fluid out and can't get the reservoir to replenish the pump. I might have to call Boston Scientific to get some answers especially if the Dr can't explain what's going on. Does lying on your back or standing upright make a difference in pumping it up? I've been standing when doing it and could I possibly have a kink in the hose to the reservoir keeping it from refilling the pump? I've done the stretch every which way while pulling down on the pump to remove kinks if there are any, plus is 100ml the correct size reservoir for a 12mm by 21cm sized implants? The stickers on the card I got say Conceal 100ml, Rear Tip Extender 1.5cm, and AMS 700 CX MS Pump 12mm x 21cm.

It sounds like you are fine. I would call the doctor and try and see him sooner or speak to him if possible. I heard air several times. It is common.
DO NOT use the inflate pump bulb and press the deflate button at the same time!!
This is stated everywhere! Are you cleared to take a bath yet? Warm 30 minute baths soften everything and make everything work better. The best thing is not to touch anything until you see the doctor if you are still hard. I would not totally deflate since your surgery was only 2 weeks ago and you may not be able to inflate… all normal in the new world of being implanted.

Yeah I fully know not to press the deflate button and squeeze the pump. I've only pressed the deflate button by accident while pulling the pump down once, freaked out and tried to pump it back up without success. I was curious the other day and only gave the bulb a slight squeeze and heard the air so today I figured I'd squeeze the deflate, listen/feel for the fluid to be flowing, then try to reinflate it. I get the pop and the bulb can be mashed, but then it just stays flat. I tried the unkink method of stretching my penis by pulling it up, left, right, down several times just in case it's kinked but no dice. Now midline on my penis I have about 6 or so black tight stitches would round and round while the rest are concealed/hidden stitches, that's why I'm wondering if maybe he's stitched the hose in a pinched state and will remove them at his office on my visit as these aren't the dissolving type of stitches and when I pull down on the pump it pulls this area as well. I was told to shower only the first 4 or 5 days but then could take a bath if needed, I'm a big guy and my tub is small plus after 4 back surgeries getting up and down in a small tub is next to impossible. Lol

Ok I'm attaching a photo of the incision showing the black stitches circled in red and the other stitching circled in white. I know the white area ones are concealed and dissolvable. The black ones I do not think are unless they are long acting ones. Also yes I found out that 100ml is the largest reservoir for the AMS 700 line. I guess that since the implant is still hard but the penis is softer ( since swelling is pretty much gone ) I'm a little concerned since it's not rock hard and standing out there at full attention like I've seen in all the videos.
