Just was more worried about what would happen after the surgery to the implant when I go on to lose the excess weight. Keep wondering if it will adversely affect it . Thing is I am losing weight but cant reschedule it so I have to do it on the date set, so whatever weight I am when the time comes will have to do.

I am also trying to lose 25 lbs while waiting for the implant.

Its known that losing 35 lbs exposes one extra inch of penile length.
Thats actually a motivating factor for me to start weightloss journey

So do you think it would be better to wait until the weight is off? Is that going to affect the actual size of the implant?

Lost Sheep put me at ease saying it has no affect, but at the back of mind the doubts keep creeping in.

Losing weight doesn't actually make your dick bigger, it just reduces the fat covering part of it.
It should have no effect on the size of implant installed.
Age 59. AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 2cm RTE.
Peniscrotal, 2/23.
6.25" OEM with Cialis, about 5" post-op. (11/01: Length 6.75" and girth is up to 4.75" mid shaft.) Still growing, albeit slowly. :D
Cycling daily. Hoping to get to 7". ;)

Thank you, apologies for all the questions and doubts. Just quite stressed out over this whole thing.

Let me clarify what I said.

The implant surgery as mentioned by others doesn't really depend on one's body fat percentage.

Fatloss reveals more of the erect penis shaft when standing naked and ideally with a strong erection.
I am motivated to lose the fat so when my ED is fixed I will have a one-inch more visible penis and an erect one.

Yeah that is what I am planning for, keep losing after the implant till I'm at ideal weight. I really don't want to delay the surgery cause the timing is crucial for me. So I feel better now in terms of just going ahead with it and then continuing on the weight loss.

I had surgery 4-18-2023. I am also over weight. But a key contribution to my overweight issue was 15 years of ED and the depression that caused. If you get the implant you will feel more motivated to be a better sexual partner and you will change your habits that will result in weight loss. Because that will likely lead to more sex and who doesn't want more of that !!!

At this point I will have a checkup today to see how my healing is going. My final check is on June 2-2023. Then I can pump it up and my wife and will try to use it right away. The waiting is killing me.
