Hi I was in surgery the same day at 7:30 am
I have a lot of pain and swelling. Hurts to pee for the catheter.
Im stilll in my bandage
Im 26 dr clavell

Tell me about it. My drs nurse explained that some bladders will spasm & expell urine past the catheter. I did that & it was the worst parts of the first day until it was removed.
Entourage & Whiteringhog. Try to remember that each man's anatomy is different & each dr uses slightly different methods. So pain can be different.
In my case, apparently I have a really deep crus. Nurse said 10cm. My asshole & tailbone hurt. Not exactly sure why.
I just made a post about using Aspercreme on your shaft. If you have someone with you I'd suggest buying a tube of it. It helps with the tender feeling & seems to provide some moisturizer to it.

Agree everyone is different in the way we heal, i will share my experience in hopes it helps someone else as the previous FT posts helped me. One of the few places on the internet where can share something like this without trolls jumping in. Best wishes on your recovery.

Congrats WH, I am also a Clavellian! I am 4 1/2 months out and things are going amazing. Better than I ever imagined and like a lot of other bionic brothers, I wish I would have done it earlier.
Take your time, listen to your body and before you know it you will be cycling and using your new device.

I wonder why you had a catheter? Most of the Clavellians don't. I didn't. Do you know why you had one inserted?

Just a guess here. Most of the times they won't let you leave the hospital until you can prove that you can pee. If you can't pee then you get a catheter.
Sadly, my surgeon uses catheters. I suspect part of the reason is it forces the patients to return the next days follow up appointment. I showed up 45 minutes early, anybody want to guess why I was early???

I was sent home with a catheter, a syringe and instructions for removing it myself the next day.
Last time I had one removed the nurse pulled it like she was starting a chainsaw.
I tried it slow, and now I know why she did it fast. LOL

Day 2

So far so good, slept 11 hours. Took my first shower and removed the bulky bandage. Man what a relief, that tape started itching last night. Pain is about the same, zero to very light pain, don’t understand why, the incision looks big, i had alot of scrotal webbing removed.

I had some swelling near the reservoir area, will ice every couple hours on the pump and reservoir and take it easy.

Hang angle is 3 o’clock feels mobile enough to ware pants and take a poo, haven’t tried either yet. Still enjoying the hard dick feeling, its been too long.

The pump is positioned nicely, low and back of the nuts, i think i will bump the pump around daily in hopes it does adhere to the skin.

Still wearing the baby sock, man those are a must have, get some if your going in.

Has been with pain in the shaft for the swelling and the tip. Took a shower and the bandages off but still pain in the reservoir. Have you measured yourself after the surgery

Ask Dr. Clavell about this I was told that the main reason for shortening the life of the devices is moving the pump and by extension the tubing around. I was told to NOT TWIST the pump and try my best to keep it in the same position when pumping. a difficult feat as it's much easier to pump if I lean it to the left.

Me too. I didn’t even dare touch the pump until about he 4th week. At 4 weeks i started getting healthy again and started walking. At first just a mile and then 3 mikes by week 6. At week 6 i began cycling and re-entered the gym (lightly). I can’t help but feel that the walking i did was helpful. It keeps the scrotum in motion which is probably helpful.

All of know is that my pump is perfectly positioned in the bottom and aft of my scrotum. The angie of the deflate bar aligns perfectly with my fingers as i reach over the top (i’m right handed).

I’d shoot a message to Dr. C and ask him about touching the pump so soon.
